New Surf Alias

I say leave the guy alone now although many wants to make fun of him now that he has asked for his "surf report" thread to be closed and he doesn't want to participate at the forum for now.
Seriously, why create aliases to mock him when it may just cause a surge in "multiple aliases" involving marketsurfer from others that are dedicated to his forum persona.
More importantly, he may be going thru some family adjustments with a new child. I saw a comment here at the forum that there's a serious baby crying issue. I got some sympathy there. I can say without doubt, I remember the birth of my 1st child...
He cried all the time. I'm not talking about small baby tears. I'm talking about the type of crying that's ear piercing, you can't think nor sleep. We often took our kid to the emergency care in the middle of the night. During the day, I myself remember going outside to cut the grass 3x per week...just for some personal quiet time.
We took him to all kinds a doctors because we thought something physically was wrong. They told us there wasn't any thing wrong. We even saw pediatricians. The only time the kid slept (for a few hours per day) was when he was completely exhausted from crying and he would then just re-energize to start crying again...sometimes 4 - 6 straight hours.
I didn't trade for a few months and didn't even go online...I was mentally drained after all that crazy crying. Yet, after 5 months of that...things mellow out quickly although the doctors never could find anything wrong with our baby, mother's breast milk was tested (it was normal) and all the calm/sleep gadgets just didn't work.
Thus, I wouldn't be surprise if marketsurfer just needs some time off from trading, no forum talking...sort'uv like re-energizing because there's nothing in the tank right now for him after recently becoming a new parent with a newborn that cries all the time.
Hope all is well for the marketsurfer. I recommend just doing some "physical" work (e.g. lawn care) if the issue is really just about the baby and nothing to do with the poor trading performance. Cutting the grass and lawn care helped me tremendously because I didn't want to venture to far away from home and leave my spouse alone with all that on her own.
We had the best looking lawn on the block.

Funny thing is, he never did. The moderators also didn't think the most popular thread should be closed down after the thread starter's departure. It was actually going strong by others until I started to bitch about it, because I was worrying...
And before I start to drop my crocodile tears because Surf can't sleep enough, interestingly, he still has time to post under Truetype. Don't get me wrong, if he says "hey sorry guys. family first" we could have understood it, but he just disappeared. And we need our daily entertainment, damn it!
I think the real story is something else, probably another fall out between Surf and Baron...
Actually, I do agree that when a long time poster that's a very active member with a "public" trade journal that stops posting without informing the viewers...

Yeah, that's the first thing that crossed my mind is that he had a fall out with Baron to explain the sudden disappearance without notification considering he notifies folks about other things.
I also thought about sudden bad news in his life involving his health or health of someone in his famly. That only crossed my mind because its still fresh in my mind how many jerks showed up here at ET to bash me when I was in the hospital and not able to explain what happen considering I was in a coma.
Thus, hopefully it was something as simple as a fall out with Baron and not health related to him or his family.

I think the reason why many don't have sympathy for surf is because he's documented here for his attacks on others, hijacking threads, multiple aliases and many other things...he's even been banned a few times for such.
Yet, you're correct, the world of money is a cruel world. Gotta have a thick skin around here.

You have already someone who speaks 7 languages that will run your office… The fact that you don’t see yourself the stupidity of most of your postings tells a lot about your intelligence. Instead of witchhunting other people on ET and call them fake, you should better first start to get your life together. The day you will die you will realize that you lost your entire life being busy with a fictitious life as a successful trader.
In general I don’t laugh with people on ET. I know what it is to start trading, lose lots of money, think at least 100 times that you finally found the ultimate tradingsystem etc... Been there, done that. It is part of the road you have to walk. But if people become arrogant and even attack me in person I will respond.
About an IP address. You should read a bit about VPN (account or sever) and VPS. Depending on the purpose people may want to hide their IP, switching it all the time, or in some cases it might be useful to have an IP address that never switches. Has to do with legal, fiscal and other things. Sometimes it is good that an IP cannot be link to you, sometimes it can be good that you can proof an IP address is linked to you. That address does not necessary have to be linked to your location, normally it should be a location that is defined by the constructions built around your trading. You did not dream about this step already? Maybe you should start. Because if, in 20 years or so, you might be trading, it can be helpful. Start now to find a lawyer specialized in constructions that you will need when ever you will make money and beat the whole world.
