As to pneumonia being assigned cause of death excessively in rural counties and just pneumonia being a byproduct of various diseases from cancer to HIV to flu to Covid, of those Covid is the only disease that exceeded normal circumstances. As a matter of fact flu was depressed- of which many people who die of flu succumb to pneumonia.

What happens to your graphs if it is determined that in democrat or urban areas the coroners tended to categorize any death with a Covid positive person... a Covid death... whereas the rural areas attempted to determine the main cause?


Your graphs are just giving you a relative comparison and you and the authors are making a judgement call that the urban areas are more accurate.
