There are some clarifications to be made to my list...MWD is actually MS (short)...PMI is PM (long) and not sure where DCR came on, it sems to be one of the short oil bs things, but as i'm short the USO is not part of my short list. GS is my one short not working at the moment, but the rest are doing what they are supposed to be doing...TSO sems to only go lower, but it is cheap enough to warrant holding on to, for awhile, but I reserve the right to sell...The rest of my longs are performing very well in a down market, not really sure how stocks list is doing (don't really care either), but I think i'm hanging in there.

It's too early to make any assumptions. Obviously, if the market breaches the March lows and keeps dropping then the stock_trad3r index will suffer but I doubt that will happen.
who made assumptions? You are the so called "investor", but for whatever reason, you feel the need to post NUMEROUS times a day at how well your "picks" are doing...The simple fact is your entire portfolio is 2 names...Thats the story, the last time I only had 2 names on my pad was....well never. My list is what it is, I have a posistion in each, and in more than most some sort of options hedge, that is how money is made with minimal risk...Heres an assumption, your long only momo list is 10x more risky than mine...Are you making 10x what my picks are....not even close.
Putting a stop on one of my longs, ELN....It is up about 26% since we started this, so the trader in me likes to keep my profits..Trailing stop goes in @ $32.58, will adjust accordingly as it goes higher....
Even with the market making monthly lows the index is still well into the green. When the market does rebound the index is gonna rocket.

stock, in order for me to compute the index in real-time, as I said I need to know how many shares of each stock. "Equal-weight" indexes are trickier to do for several reasons.
