Quote from Mr. Rowshan:

I marked the prices within minutes of stock trad3r posting them. I'm not sure when you marked yours, but the actual values should be from when he posted. Shouldn't they? [/B]

Quote from stock_trad3r:

After the enourmous success of my first index

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=97960&perpage=6&pagenumber=1

(which is up 40%) I have launched a new index (6/11/08) of eight stocks and ETFs that will crush the market, as my prior index did.

Here are the stocks:

MOS
V
BIDU
RIMM
AAPL
CLR
PCX
CLF(I don't like iron stocks but I coudn't find anything else to add with a large enough market cap. And I'm not going to add two coal stocks.)

I predict this index will rise 40% within the next year. Making money in the stock market is as easy as buying these stocks and holding them for awhile.

As a rule the index cannot change. I may or may not own these stocks at any time. Currently I am long V and MOS. Yea some of these losers get their panties in a bunch cause I don't own all the stocks I recommend.

do you have a job other than trading?

Thanks Paysense. Frank and Stock are both EXCELLENT stock pickers. I am just grabbing my pop corn and taking a seat...

This should be interesting. :)

Thx Sophie for taking up the challenge - you can learn from ST. . .watch.:D

Quote from stock_trad3r:

Markets up big, tech stocks surging and just about everything else.

Oil down big today while market is up which is why oil sucks and I didn't include any oil refiners in my index. Its like 'oh no fed gonna raise rates..oil drop 4 bucks'..how gay is that?

OIl sucks and so does natural gas and solar and wind. I made sure not to include any of these type stocks in the index.
Since your message FirstSolar is up
FSLR was up yesterday and is up +2.64% today

Wow, it looks like stock_trad3r actually has better picks than the other phony, franky. looks like stock_trad3r is gonna be full of himself again. thanks a lot frank...

Quote from Thermactor:

Short IMB, CROX, GSI and DRYS. They've been sinking steadily and are easy easy money. Just look at the chart. No support, just freefall.

If ANYBODY listened to my advice they would have been up 20 percent over the past three days alone.

My God, the lists are 2 days old...Everyone here thinks in such short term horizons, let it play out...I am quite confident I can beat a list of long only momo stocks...I will be trading around my posistions and adding and subtracting, becuase thats what a trader does..

It's interesting to see Apple really taking it on the chin.

I think the smart phone space is very crowded, and their product isn't as differentiated as they really need to meet the lofty expectations associated with Apple products.

Also, Palm is getting kind of scrappy for a change.

I think the AT&T tether is more like an anchor in the consumer's eye, though.

IMO.
