I have implemented a few new showcase strategies for TuringTrader:

The strategies from Larry Connors and Cesar Alvarez' books 'Short Term Trading Strategies That Work', and 'High Probability ETF Trading'. Please see the blog post here:

sure they can. And as the code shows, this is also not hard with TuringTrader.

What is this language?

It's C#.
