New Monitors, what is your preference

"... I understand thisis different in the Intel made mobo world - mostly as Intel on board graphics SUCKS (in 10 meter high letters). ATI has decent mobo graphics chips for some time.

It's not a matter of the onboard video quality... it's a matter of whether or not the BIOS will allow you to run 2 video cards and 4 monitors. Seems it should never be a problem... got a video card to fit a slot, should run... but not always the case.

Sorry, this IS wrong. Intel chips are known to be crappy outside office use ;) ATI on board chips are "decent" (blue ray decoding capacity and playing 2 year old games) ;)

??? Low cost, low power draw, no noise... why would that go out of favor?

You found a mobo with 5 PCIEx16 slots?

No. It has 3 PCIeX16, 2 PCI and 1 PCIeX1. I am going to try putting on my old PCI video cards in there. I hope that it will work to have 10-mon total. Will report later.

Does anyone have history with ordering refurbished monitors from Dell? (i.e, any issues with dead/bright pixels, reliability, cosmetics, or return/exchanges?)
