new margin by mgforex

Gentlemen

s 20 dec 2007 mgforex.com rejected
1:800 margin for all GBP/...
and 1:600 - 1:400 for all anothers

to 1% .It is worster as by FXCM(1:200)

Where are grounds ? New regulation ?

mgforex.com have advantage java and html version for heavy network conditions .
For comparsion -
mbtrading/efxgroup is pure agent of principal( have not proprietary trading desk) with ECN offer ,but have only downloading platform and margin alsov
only 1:100

fxsol.com and interbankfx both offer margin 1:400 ,but platform's are not good -large amount of downloading .


Relevant comment would appreciated

The new NFA capital requirements rules went into effect as of Dec. 21... forcing such dramatic leverage reductions at MG Forex. As if the lovely full name "Money Garden Forex" weren't enough already to keep you far away...

FXSol and IBFX have well over $10M each and so can still offer 400:1, bless their hearts.

Interbankfx received 40 mln $ ,can hold 1:400

Fxsol belong to infinitiy brokerage and can offer 1:400 alsov

Actually FXCM offers 400:1 - they don't advertise it but all you have to do is ask and tell them if they don't give it to you you're going to someone else

In each case it is not pure agency as MBT/EFX and not offer
ECN

MBT true better ,but fxcm offer better margin

Both have dissadvntage's that not offered html reserved version for heavy network conditions as AMTD,OXPS or mgforex by forex

Cleared in another thread MBT is alsov not pure agency .

MBT advantage against FXCM is ECN ,but company can "undertake proprietary trading activities "
as stated in customer agreement

There can by definition not be real ECNs in Forex so I prefer to go with No Dealing Desk and especially FXCM since they are much larger than MB. Makes me feel safer about my funds.
