Open an account with IB take advantage of their trading simulator ONLY.

btw it is not limited to a 3 month trial as most other brokers do (from my experience).

That will be your best trainer.
it will tie up $2000 and cost $10/month.

Leave the initial opening funds to draw interest or invest in a broad market ETF index, like the vipers.
 
Not intending disrespect here as I was also once a very keen newb hungry for knowledge but.....

This same question is asked nearly every day by some new guy. The answer is to search old posts, look at the book review section of the site, etc rather than just come and say "please give me all the answers on a plate".

Anyway, I appreciate this guy does want to learn but the best way to start is to actually do your own research and not be lazy. This site provides all the resources if you can be bothered to look. Then, when the questions become more specific, they can use the forums to (hopefully) drive a slightly more value-added discussion.
