New emini trading hours

I am starting a thread on this since there was little reaction to my last post on the subject . I cannot believe I would be the only one bothered with those new hours. I am talking about the daily shut down between 5:30-6:00pm. This new schedule is absurd or else they (the CME) had a good reason to choose to move the maintenance shutdown from midnight to 5:30pm.

How can we complain to these CME aholes?!@!:mad:

Most futures markets may be closed but the market for the underlying US stocks is not closed. As a matter of fact this is around the time conference calls start. The Q's trade but not the emini Nasdaq 100!
