What specifically is wrong with your cash balances and positions?
I seem to have a problem with futures p&L, and with marking of option positions.
I assumed this would be self-correcting over a period of time but I haven't really checked it out to see.
What I don't like is that the daily reports are not as clear as they could be. My p&L seems to jump around at odd times---I usually just look at the net liq. which seems to be off sometimes.
I also own some IB private placement notes and I am letting them run off as I do not like IB's exposure to PM.
And....BTW SIPC coverage is $500k--with a limit of $100k on cash. MMF's are considered securities but your cash at IB isn't in a MMF.
Note also that SIPC coverage applies "over and above" anything returned to you in a broker bankruptcy.
