Chinese electric-car manufacturer Xpeng on Friday revealed its all-new flagship SUV that comes with an ultra-high-power charger. It is the automaker’s first model designed specifically for global distribution.
The car, named G9, was unveiled at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition. It’s Xpeng’s fourth production model and will be the first to possess the carmaker’s latest advanced driver assistance system.

As a result, it will be able to charge for up to 200 kilometers (125 miles) of range in five minutes, with a maximum energy efficiency of over 95%. I'm a fan of Chinese car manufacturers, but I'm afraid with the tension over Taiwan and China's aggressive stance, I don't think anyone in Europe, North America or Asia outside China would buy their vehicles. Their market is very large and can sustain them for years, but their ambitions are stunted and their value limited from a trading standpoint.
 
VicBee, I think it is the US and its lackeys like LittleBritain and RacistoAussie that acts aggressive.
China only reacts in a similar manner, and that only since recently.
The dying West thinks about the Chinese that they are obedient and silent, but the Chinese have very well studied and understood, and react now themselves in a similar manner, since this is the only language the West understands to treat one with respect.
The stronger one is, the more respected one becomes. That's unfortunately the sicko western mentality...
The Chinese just adapt to it, or adapt it...

That's already outdated.

Ford has developped already a system that loads in less than 5 minutes. The Chinese give in that time just enough to drive 125 miles.

And that is even beaten now: 2 minutes to load:
Researchers at the University of Twente claim that they have developed a new material in collaboration with German and Chinese scientists that would charge lithium-ion batteries in electric cars up to ten times faster.

China Is Still Building an Insane Number of New Coal Plants
While the rest of the world turns away from the fossil fuel, China is investing big in coal-powered electricity.

Although China continues to be a world leader in the deployment of renewable energy resources, its continuing reliance on coal also means its carbon footprint tops the charts. The path forward is clear, but whether Chinese officials can strike a balance between economic imperatives and solutions to a mounting climate emergency is not.
