How long has bitcoin been around? A decade? How long have the futures for them been around? Like two years? I don't see any price suppression going on.

You're out of your element.

I am not saying it is happening now, or maybe it is and BTC should have been even higher, but these instruments are there to be used when the time comes to end with unregulated cryptos.
Imo only regulated, traceable, taxable cryptos and fedcoins will survive in the long run.
