Being as kind as I can be I would assess those on the left are suffering from some type of Stockholm syndrome.
It's hard to believe that anyone would see their own government lie so blatantly and just shrug their shoulders and say, well, shit happens. We really don't care what happened. What's done is done. Nothing to see here, move along. Republicans are just playing politics.
Of course it's politics. The government was involved. The administration failed to provide adequate security. The administration failed to respond to calls for help before , during and after the fact. They fabricated a story to cover up their failures. They have stonewalled every step of the way. Yes, it's politics as usual. This is no surprise. And I suppose it should come as no surprise that the left simply doesn't care. Obama is their guy and he can do no wrong, and if something goes wrong, it's someone else's fault, and anyone asking questions is a racist.

Haven't you figured out Covertibility's M.O. by now? He leaps into a discussion, throws a grenade filled with propaganda, and then leaps out before having to answer for it. He rarely gets into actual debate, having no real substance of his own to stand behind.

You are describing two types of people:
1. Those that are democrats and don't care as long as the politicians vote they way they want.
2. Those that are democrats that are too stupid to know any better, who listed to the likes of rachel maddow and are too dumb to know she's a liar.
It's sad that politicians only job is to get re-elected and voters to vote for the people who are going to do what they want. There is no such thing as doing the right thing for the good of the country anymore.
I have to laugh when the press describes these politicians as lifetime public servants as if they sacrificed and took less pay for the public good. Being a politician is the ultimate in unethical selfish behavior.

You would think with all that effort they could have come up with something more plausible, but this is the Obama administration we're talking about. Does the truth need 12 revisions? It is obvious that the Democrat strategy is to circle the wagons and protect Obama, Clinton, the Democrat brand, etc. Wouldn't it be refreshing if at least one of them would put their country and the truth first and let the chips fall where they may. When Nixon went off of the reservation, it was Howard Baker and other Republicans that led the charge for him to resign. I don't see any Howard Bakers on the Democrat side of the aisle nor anyone in the so-called mainstream media with the journalistic integrity to pursue that truth.
