In short term, seriously, I see space exploration technology stocks will hopefully get a boost. This should last for a really long time.Depends on what you mean by "long run". 2700 light years?
It's impressive that they can discover planets 1200 light years away, and have some idea of their composition, orbit, if they're in the habitable zone, etc. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be paying them a visit anytime soon ... maybe in 10 million years ?
