The right wing tea party wackos are making bad choices in their hero worship; Joe the plumber, Zimmerman the idiot, now Bundy the welfare rancher. And these tea party guys think they can run the country, what a joke.
Don't be an idiot.
I understand that your left instincts are to paint large groups of people with a single labeled brush (racism, in this case) but the vast majority of the Tea Party simply wants constitutional principles followed. In the case of Bundy, the issue is not about the person (who appears to be somewhat of a kook) but about his rights as a citizen.
As conservatives, we focus on issues and principles. As liberals, you guys like to focus on the person or the source, and ignore the principle. Sometimes that IS relevant. For instance, if Bundy had been pushing for racial equality, or campaigning on it, and then this comment surfaced, it would be relevant.
Instead, as a conservative and supporter of the Tea Party, I look at the issue of government seizing land or restricting it's access as the problem. I don't see Bundy as a hero.
Get a clue.

They want to restore the constitution. Which among many other things would take ruling power away from the corrupt career federal politicians and return it to the people. Where it belongs.
