There are plenty of well adjusted trans but of course there are Brigitte/Mark Despichtts who are narcissist caricatures.

I am absolutely straight but I've understudied as Rocky in a Rocky Horror stage show and I was informed to fair bit (30 years ago) about what is a disorder vs well adapted in trans. There are plenty of people who are not entirely male or female both biologically and in nurture and this is just how things are but add a personality disorder and those make problems for the rest.

It would be surprising to me however if the Dutch winner had serious mental problems to make it thorough the competition.
