NETFLIX: Short Sell

I wrote my post this morning here, and as far as I know, US markets were closed???? So it was obvious DB currency was in EURO, not in dollars. Give me a break

Your post was at 10:03 Eastern, in reply to a post at 9:38 Eastern. How is that when "US markets were closed?" o_O

Deut' and Chris', forget it. It doesn't matter. I'm out of that trade now anyhow. I made a good call several days ago and collected 10% today. However, I'm down close to 3% on Netflix, so I may give that 10% back again. Oh well.

These are intentionally speculative trades where I attempt to trade against the trend to catch what is very often a bounce.

Another speculative long on MG.TO at 53.63. 100 shares. However, this one actually has longer term investing potential.

I have a simple couch potato portfolio and then do speculative trades with the margin this creates.

If you want to be a little credible here, you better learn to read chronologically a thread !
My first post (FYI #26 ) about Netflix and DB was written @11:01 CET or @5:01 NYT ....
DB quote was 12.6 EUR at that time. So YES, US markets were closed :wtf:.

In #26 at 5:01 you reference NFLX, a US ticker, in the same breath as DB, so he assumed you were speaking in US terms. He replied #27 at 9:38, and you flamed him (inappropriately, I think) in #28 at 10:03... In any case DB has been super active off-hours recently in the US, for obvious reasons, so the "market closed" argument is worthless.

Simple.... Don't do trade them now, but put VMC and MLM on your radar. They both report on 11/1 and they should see a nice rise going into the election. They have already run quite well from the 52 week lows but have backed off about 15% from the highs. VMC is the better target imo. I think they will be great shorts at some point. This is of course contrary to all of the "America is going to spend big on infrastructure" banter going on. Any time a specific group runs on future hype.... its usually sets itself up for a good long term short play. I like materials because they are easy (for me) to understand. Higher diesel fuel and energy costs in general really hurt this sector. FWIW... you seem to trade like I do so put these two on your radar. peace.

Lol. Do you know what means Right now????
Right now, DB is a nice short @12.5/13, and NFLX is a hold @120/122.
DB quoted 12.6 @5:01 CET. This was 'Right now a nice short @12.5/13'.
Even a child would understand that.
Boy, give me a break and play Pokemon Go, easier for you.

You made an incorrect assumption about the ticker symbol and failed to realize that I was in the trade for two weeks. It was a correct long two weeks ago, which I exploited (10% return), and there is a growing number that would argue that its a long-term long if you're willing to wait it out.
