There is a very basic point that Trump and most voters get but that the media and elites resist with unusual venom.
There are going to be a certain number of horrific shootings in this country. It's a big country and people are going to fall through the mental health safety net or they are gang bangers in chiraq or baltimore, etc.
But there are other killings we can prevent. The most obvious are those committed by identifiable groups of immigrants. The two most obvious are hispanic gang members and criminal immigrants, illegal or legal, and muslims. We know that some percentage of muslims will commit terrorist acts and a startling large percentage of muslims is either ok with that or doesn't oppose it. Yet obama wants to bring in large numbers of muslims from conflict zones with little in the way of effective background checks. To normal people that seems insane.

The trick to dealing with liberals is to simply accept that they are culturally suicidal and to plan your life based on protecting yourself and your family from them.
It is clear to me that liberals are going to let terrorists into our neighborhoods and then try to disarm us at the same time. Its just a given. You have to be thinking out ahead of liberals by at least one step.
While this shooting was occurring I was rigging an emergency coal stove for use in ice storms (or terrorist destruction of the electrical grid) lol. As I hauled a load of coal home in a box in the back of my hummer I actually thought about futurecurrents for a few seconds.
I've accepted liberals for what they are and work daily to embrace all that they hate. Its a way of life now.
This is what's sad for me. As I have stated here many times I do not own a gun of any sort and haven't for many years. The reasons are personal. I do however fully support the right to own a legal weapon of choice for all legal citizens. For the very first time in multiple decades I have considered purchasing a weapon or two. I have zero confidence in our system at this point and believe we may have to fend for ourselves in this fight against Radical Islam as it comes to our streets. It's here, and there's more to come. I ain't going down easy. The Universities hired mostly traitors and became incubators for mindless black-dressing leftist drones with liberal arts degrees who somehow have voting privileges.
When it became clear that the whales were doing just fine they hunted around and landed on man-made global warming as the perfect cause. AGW defies analysis and demands the destruction of our way of life so it is a really good fit for mindless liberals. Then they realized they could hasten our destruction by promoting an obscure islamofascist group to global prominence by simply failing to oppose them in their home countries.

I don't have the time as I am a father of 4 school aged kids.
I don't have the excess cash.
I don't want to move... I love it here and my the schools are very good.
The good news that my friends since the late 80s... approached me about 6 months ago and told me I should run because I have no skeletons in the closet... (they only thing they don't know about is elitetrader.) They I could stay honest but they half jokingly said they wanted to get rich.
Finally, I am concerned that the bankers will put a horse's head in my bed and make me an offer I can't refuse.
