The point of me starting the Vic threads was twofold. To show Marketsurfer that he's a tool and to show Elite Trader that most hedge fund operators are frauds.

As a 27 year veteran of this industry I hear stuff all the time. I knew Amaranth's positions weeks before the story blew. I don't enjoy taking potshots. Judge not lest you be judged. I too have made and lost bundles. I'm humbled. What I don't do is what Surfer/Vic do. That is criticize those who are better than me.

It's kind of comical how Surf rips a guy like JWH who, while he has had a very rough streak, has controls in to protect himself from imploding...and idolizes a guy like VN who has blown up not once...but twice......the most amazing part is VN basically blew up this time in a very similar fashion as last time.....ya think he woulda made some changes...
