Hedge Funds are mature asset class. There is no way that fees can continue at 20 percent a year. Does anything maintain 20 percent profit growth per year? No.
 
Apparently his 7th order vanilla equity option risks went unhedged... again, what is a 7th moment risk in vanilla equity options? ;)

I haven't read the story, but t was indeed the Mar08 1000 puts... which were sold naked, NO HEDGE.

Actually, I don't think surf needs to offer anyone an apology. In fact, he posted and CONFIRMED VN's situation shortly after Pabst did. Only on this sophisticated site does every thread turn into the flaming of the surf.

I never got beyond the fourth moment. I should never have canceled that advanced options seminar with Nitro!
