Let me say good for this young man in saving this girl from the predator. We should applaud him for stepping up and doing the right thing.

In regards to Lucrum's comment - if you take a close look at historic immigration patterns of black people to the U.S., you will find that the majority of their ancestors came to the U.S. voluntarily after 1865 from places like the Caribbean and Africa - not as slaves from before 1865. This is one fact that appears to slip the minds of many people when race is discussed in the U.S.
