Need two (2) beta testers for squawkbox service

One of the squawk box services is looking for a few beta testers for their new hardware and software. If you're using a DSL, satellite, or Cable internet connection, PM me and I'll tell you what is involved, etc. ALso, one of the instant messaging pgms would be helpful.

Of course, there's NO charge for you...just a willingness to be bothered a few times during the day giving your feedback. So, essentially, you'll have free squawk box service for a couple of weeks, maybe longer or shorter. It is my understanding that after the beta period is over, the service will be priced at ~$50 a month, fyi.

Exactly what do you mean by squawk box service? I am currently using a cable modem connection & might be interested.

Why would there be a need for new hardware?

EdPage, a squawk box service consists of an open microphone and/or an announcer giving price updates of the S&P 500 futures trading. There are other services giving play by play from other pits but the one we're dealing with here is the S&P 500 futures.

Normally the announcer is several seconds ahead of the prints you'll see on your data software (Esignal. Real tick, Nextrend, etc)
and this can be helpful in entering and closing trades.

There are a ton of threads about this here on Elite Trader. Do a search for "squawk" and you'll be up to speed on this in no time.

It is my understanding that they are revamping their system which includes hardware and software on their end. From the perspective of the listener, there are no hardware upgrades needed, however, they are rolling out new client software.

To all: they have as many beta testers as they need for this part of their troubleshooting. They haven't made any promises but I believe they'll by up and running in a couple of weeks...projected subscription will cost ~$50 a month.
