Need suggestions for Printer

Hi,
I would like to buy a printer that would give me the largest possible chart with as much back data showing as possible.

I like to see my charts with as much history as possible with few Indicators underneath.

I have never used a printer before.

Can you guys suggest me what kind of printer should I buy with all the specs and brand name please ?

I use a HP 9650 (2 yr old model, look for a large print model ) for drafting 11 X 17 drawings. Works well. Decent on ink, could be a bit faster, but thats the way it goes when you go with 11 X 17.
