Method is closer, but it's too far Direction and any chop / noise is SLing me out.

Profitable week, but few trades covered bills which will have to do.

So..........

40lwma High and Low, 100% trade with this direction, accept less trades

12lwma High and Low.

Then some range back...

Envelope 12lwma High +0.02% and Low 0.02%

Sim trade ES 11th open +30mins.

Up move missed, Join 40L long, stalling top +3pts.

Repeat, +8pts till 12 flat, nice

Crossed below 40, look for shorts.

Short SL hit -3pts, faked breakout bastard.

Rejoin short, 2pts worse than SL went +6pts

Crossed back up, Longs.

Long +1.5pts barely worth it

20Lwma High and Low seperately
Envelope 20lwma High +0.03% ( bottom line hide )
Envelope 20lwma Low -0.03% ( Top hide )

Chop is when 40 and 20 are sideways, then it'll stay pretty well within the +0.03% Range, not perfect mind.

Better waiting for direction, then joining, SL outside the 0.03% range and try to let it ride.

Looks pretty good, so far, not as many trades as I'd like mind.
 
Back test new logic, trying to go slower.

NQ 11th Jan open +30mins.

Turned up, pull back Long 12955, SL 42, sellers exit 87 +22pts.

Low Range long 12976, SL 65 +20pts, sold back quick continued up for +30pts

Trend change loss if in, obviously -15pts if in, in ??

short 12980 SL 94, SL didn't hit, entry was sloppy but hey that's the gamble.

Fake out to downside, first loss wrongly.


Widened that 40 to a Envelope 0.03%


ES looks okay aswell.

DEMO DEMO DEMO as much as possible, till happier but looks possible, slower way to trade.
 
Thus far, new method is quite nice, got to slow it down, got to enlarge the SL, got to average in sensibly once so 2 positions max, got to hold but trail with a SL, until the trend is flat / turning.
 
Method, scored highly, less trades but it's calling a trend well, staying on the trend well and very few SL hitting fake outs, MIGHT be onto something FINALLY!! :)

Or might fall apart tomorrow, find out tomorrow :(
