Envelopes 5lwma High +0.03% and Low -0.03%
Envelopes 13lwam high +0.06% and low -0.06%

Moved auto SL outside of the 13's range slightly.

It's more strategic rather than arcade which is better for me.

But the same issues apply get +10pts in profit wait to long and your +5 or -2 in no time, there is as always no way to predict exit, I could just go other side of range and write code to put limit there easy peasy, but then I don't get any runs :(

Turning 4 limit orders, 2 to play the down trend and 2 to play the pull back, TP's set to 3pts on all orders, lets see how that pans out over night, SLEEP!!!
 
Proper Demo day required, trade with the 13s direction, trade with the 13s direction and play the 5's range with and switch brain on FFS!

Looks good this morning entry wise, exits wise so used to taking the first stall on M1 I've not got a clue to be honest, I'll either hold not long enough or hold too long so screwed either way.
 
M5 can't do it, tried, loads of trades just no, it's a works after the fact, but your not really trading what's happening, it's what's happened, M1 I'm trading what's happening, doesn't mean it won't stop happening 10seconds later but yeah.

Method going simpler.

8LWMA HL/2
Envelope 8LWMA High +0.04 and Low -0.04

KISS!!!

Only take trends with Range on my side, ignore all others, ie no breakout madness.

Wait for direction, join near the 8LWMA HL/2 is fine, Long near the +0.04 is BAD.
 
Back on $1 per point,

Rules as above, Trading Russell trends well and Gold.

Concept change from MAKE Money, to preserve capital, rule being only take trades where odds are good ofcourse and loss amount will be low, so no more chasing +6pts so far.
 
Back at $10 per pt, NQ trades blew $90 in 2seconds, decided to fast for me.

Trading ES since and UK100 for the morning, less choppy than Dax.

All a bit cheaper.
 
Looking like ES is the baby, it's less erratic than NQ :) no spikes to take out SL's, support areas no fake out, I'm starting to see why people like ES.

Only +$30 here, but getting back on track, be up nicely if it wasn't for NQ in 2seconds.
 
Russell and NQ are straight lines, no pull back to enter with, makes it tricky so when you do buy a pull back it's generally a trend change, where as ES pulls back, gives you a cheap SL trade and continues, nice!!
 
As always the method FAILS live, only down $20 or so, was up, then was down then end bla bla bla just not getting anywhere.

Issue seems to be, sometrades on counter trend and some aren't but as this logic gives me no appreciation I'm not holding long enough in trend and too long in counter trend, so small profit and small loss repeat endlessly.

Jumped back onto demo, new logic and profits!!

Envelope 42lwma 0.02% that's my direction to trade with ( slower )

18LWMA High and a Low ( so 2 ) This is my main trend channel

Envelope outside the 18 tracking at +/- 0.06%

If Price>42Lwa and 18lwma's upward Then
Look for Longs
If Price between 18lwma high and Low then join direction.
If Price Near 18lwma Low then take 2nd position.
end if

if Price Goes outside 18 H+/L- 0.06% then Exit / SL hit.



All trades with longer trend being the 42 and 18 is the range, rather than trying to time market turns which many are FAKE as shit!! :(

Then I can hold longer and more > profits hoooraaaaaaa!!

Slower, less stressy method M1.
 
Okay test new plan, looked good later on today, no more timing market moves, defo suckers game, can do for a bit then no.

Gold 9am 4th Sept.

No trend till 9:45. long 1937 +3pts
short 1937 then 1938 SL 40 - 5pts.

Got bored, quick fly through, proper tidy with SL out to +0.10% out very few fake SL hits, maybe 70% win rate and encourages to hold for big moves maybe.
 
Method scoring well, started demo trades just, focus on longer trends everything else is BS and noise.

If 42lwma is flat don't trade, let them fight out too erratic, uk100 flat and erratic.

Patience is going to be my weak point here.

Exits might take profit at extreme level 0.1% and a pause then look to get back in lower down.

I looked at deleting all and playing clusters but very few longer than 3mins yesterday, no trades, shame great R:R 60% win rate.

ES made a few pts, DAX performed well to this aswell.
