Need somewhere to think out loud,

Got emotional, mixed with a few trades going against me, still need strict rules.

1. Got to stop taking 2nd position, hurts too bad when it goes wrong and it's too much $$'s on the line for me to just take and walk away.

2. stricter rules on getting with a trend of sorts.

3. Stricter right SL rules.

4. stop getting greedy and expecting a 50pt move, I'm not that lucky, notice LOADS right after I had to go out :(


Method to achieve above........

5sma + Envelopes 5sma 0.03% and 0.06%, Range to trade and SL.

Envelope 9sma 0.01%, this is the trend I trade with.

Wait for 9 strength then play 5's range with 9's strength
 
Remove 5sma, change 0.03 to 0.02.

Looking good, nearly automatical so stop going off script or being impatient and taking stupid trades trying to hard.
 
Needs to be faster so 4 and 7 based.

Get up switch back on tight auto sl following to keep losses to a min and get in it.

Enforce the rules maybe if 2nd order appears close rule lol
 
Getting head around new plan, it's the way to go, got the cut the emotion out or sooner or later that'll bite me on my fat ass.

MTB ride back for 3hours before NQ's close to try it out maybe live.
 
Back, HOT good ride, back testing well I nearly joined Long NQ 9450 area up 20pts already on that 1.

7's direction, really fast and 4's range really really fast seems good.

My results get better as it gets faster, before I thought this quick became meaningless as couldn't trade it, keep going towards then failing, this time looks like skills improved so hopefully can trade it.

Get this entry plan and SL tightness nailed down then start trying to optomise exit plan I guess. previous high worked perfectly, as 4 was flat figured just noise not trend, yesterday I'd of held and be looking at SL being hit, +$60 is +$100 better than a -$40 SL hit!!

Turning down, look for upper 4 range short to join, with a min SL risk size.
 
Broke down, after a fake up move, thems the breaks,

Don't find myself having to make a decision of what direction to play, it's the direction is Down in this case and that's what I'm playing.

+$300 here, arggggh could of done with that 2nd trade.

Only taking trades where SL is tight is the key and having a Limit order in that area to catch spikes.

IF I don't go nuts, then start printing money here :)
