Getting head around, +14 pts today, trading NQ since I got home nothing big but better than, place trade, move SL, really move SL, noooo more SL, why does this happen OMG SL hit for 4x's my risk tollerance.

Need a kicker for slow trend to boost confidence in which way to take.

Envelope 60sma 0.01 added.

Don't try to use all the time, but slow stable markets mixed with other method = winning :)

2 - 3 days work to go, then back full time and hopefully not sucking!!
 
Method check, based on limited watching and trading today ( Work, forgot Tablet doh! )

The Env 5 0.02% perfect, nice short term direction and chop range ideal, perfect.
The Env 10 0.04% I like how it helps me see direction, but the BB is doing a better job.
BB 10 2.6 great highly accurate range, out performing the Env 10
Env 60 0.01 so a Fat SMA basically, If markets slow and choppy, but you want some wind behind you, then this increases your odds nicely. If the market is wild then ignore obviously as it's too slow to react and keep it real.

Made the BB Brighter, and the Env 10 less so, stronger the colour stronger the significance, just a fast way to see what really counts.

I'll try to trade DAX am, but yeah sleep needed then work :( then gym, swim and 1917 movie and boring weekend :(
 
Reducing clutter.

10 Envelope gone.

BB changed to BB 8sma 2.8
Envelope 5 0.02 staying
and Envelope 60 0.01 for longer still.

The 8 works better as it's closer to the 5, it's a bit less, direction is up and down, it's more up and up which is just less confusing.
 
1917 was very good, weird 1 camera show although they cheated a lot it, appeared that way.

Changes ofcourse, obviously!!!

Setups.

1. Wait for 20direction say up, then take a long near low BB chop area.
2. On a BB Breakout, look to enter near the centre 8sma line.

Look for Setups, where I'm risking 6 with a pretty good shot at making 15-30 on DAX!!

Very limited decision making here, 20 direction is X, do Y, limited decision making means not even I can cock it up :)

Massize sell off, but 20 just turned up, lets find cheap entries to join.

Missed a good move, 2mins late to the party, no entry near 8sma.
Pull back to 20 long 13114 ( off by 3pts so normal crap no entries perfect )
BB chocking it, move is over, exit -2
Yep broke down next bar, up reverse off 5 ( might be back just dotted ), missed trade.
20down short 13104 top 5 channel Exit +14 nice enough!! ( went 30 damn it )

Simpler, see setup, know I've got it in my brain cell, work / not work, go...

I NEED the 5 really helps me see direction.

DAX Reverses off the 20sma frequently, which is kinda cheating :)

It'll work, as long as I keep SL tight and get a good price.

Not seeing breakouts and thinking join even in F12 sim oddly, but give that longer live, I'll do breakout numbers over the weekend see how many false signals it gives, for SL and joining reasons.
 
loving this method in tests, master it, stop screwing around with my SL, back to $10 per pt asap ( 5 YM ) then book 5days in Tenerife mid Feb, bish bash deal done!!!
 
Slow market day, had zero time to trade but method still seems valid, maybe tomorrow.

DAX today confidence boosting ( I hope ) back test

9:30am GMT start time.

L 13491 joining 20uptrend low risk, ran to to 13510 nice.

Entry but can see turning

2 entries short, not big moves.

turn up looks obivous, joining very small profit, rejoin would of hit SL.

Big move down, entry 1/2 way, but no way I risk that crap.

uptrend 3 entries worth 30-40pts nice.

Stack of good short entries.
 
Well as I'm pretty much trading off the 20sma, SL set at 20sma 0.05% and trailing the sma to stop me doing anything stupid.

Running out of Cash to live off, got 2-3 months, I'm at start looking for job phase, so end of the month to get back making profits again or it's time to abort sadly.

So Close, but maybe so far away ?? 2 weeks to get my funk together and get ROCKING!!
 
Method looking great working so not got the time to stalk entries, 20sma rocks, so easy, feeling kinda stupid it was that obvious all along :(

Need to stop being lazy and start hitting it hard asap!
