Up 45pts today, only 1st trade a loser could of made +30pts on that 1 aswell, but hey.

2 NQ trades trading them at $2 per pt as there generally only worth 8pts nearly 1/2 dax move size.

Fixed my Mountain Bike aswell, since I had it, steering felt vague, turned out bearing to frame spacer missing, £125 for the kit to get 1, took me 2 hours to sand and metal file a sprung washer down to the right size and heat and unspring, FUN!! not!!
 
Transfered money ( ICMarkets 2nd account linked, handy ), double size tomorrow, going to run NQ upto $20 per pt and see how that runs as it's kinda SLOW as!!

Or do I go 1/2 sized and US30 ???

NQ 1pt spread, move 17:00 time, 16pts without the spread. 0.24%
YM 2pt spread, 48pt move without spread. 0.17% interesting less.

Spread to points moved, better off YM I guess, 24vs16.
 
Decision made, going to dump NQ and move to 1/2 sized YM, it's tradeable before US open and has a 2pt spread still, NQ also has a 2pt spread.

NQ barely covered the spread just, YM moved 30pts.

No brainer!!
 
Busy day, no trades, nearly took a few but distracted then ohhh damn it!!

Losing the 30sma, 12's direction joining near or out to the BB 12 1.5 if 12 strong worked great.

US30 scarey, but get good and damn that's worth a lot of pts all the time.
 
6sma back in, so the method I was trialing last week is back.

What I'm seeing is on a strong bit of trend, market is reversing quite often from the 12sma, but my trusting is kinda weak, as it's going down to there, so might continue, but I I wait for a turn back over the 6 then I'm joining the 12 and short term momo aswell.

Bugger all use in chop, but BB has the covered with enough accuracy to work I think.

Hopefully have a better day and get some trading in Wednesday, up at 1:30am not going to help, felt proper head banging ill all day, then woman induced BS drama hence upto 1:30am, bloody crazy bitches!!
 
Really SORE eyes, bloodshot, dry, can't stare at a screen and focus at all, on hold till sorted.

Eye Wash + Drops and new +2.0 cheap glasses and cold press thing.

Get eyes fixed, headache from eyes fixed, then back on trading!!
 
Eyes and headache getting better 1 trade not long ago +34pts YM easy as eating pancakes, was tracking up lower BB12 1.5, SL outside BB 3.0 nice move into close.

I could live off end of day move into the close easily!
 
Getting better at directional trading, the urge to reverse everything is fading :)

3 trades +18 +4 and +8, +30pts today, well 1 hour toward the close on tablet at mates when I had some kinda peace.

PROGRESSING NICELY, about 3months later than planned, but hey plans!!
 
Method / system thoughts of the day.........

Tweaked method, wasn't optimal quite.........

BB 12sma 1.8Dev
Envelope 12sma 0.02%
7Sma

Needed the fixed 0.02% to enter with 12's direction in, 12's wiggle room, worked well today.

Waiting for a 6sma cross over, really easily cuts out the catching falling knives.

I noticed the 1.5Dev BB caught and reversed most, so widdened to 1.8Dev easier and clearer.

Starting to look good again, hopefully done enough work on my brain cell, to make it stick this time, rather than few weeks profitable then self doubt creeps in and there is all goes again.

Find out, next week or 3, things take too long, too damn lazy!!
 
Additional..........

Need to start looking after my eye sight, so 10min break every hour and a few mins with my gel cold pack and dry eye drops every morning, I HATE putting them in.
