Need somewhere to think out loud,

OverWatch V1.01 is up and compiling and loaded on DAX so far.

Basic just a 10SL, auto added to all trades, I can move the SL if needs be, but removing would just get it added back in again.

If it works later even when trades placed away via tablet then the risk of 1 trade account blowing up or major damage is reduced to near Zero and a lot of my fear of trading removed.

In place for a MAJOR Ramp up in trading tomorrow am, I'll put the Intelligence into it, if required later if required!!

Works :) Next Price move ( for ever at this time on GBPUSD only ) and hey Presto SL appears, great if your lazy like me :)

Easy as!!!

No more, lazy, no SL set account blow ups :)

Start on V2 with brains tomorrow, too tired tonight!!
 
Trade, first in AGESS!!!!! only +$72, damn nice having a SL jump in, before I changed brokers I had auto SL but alas damn government nanny state muppets :(

Yeah, in watching and learning today, simplified method to get to the core.

20ema + Envelope 20ema 0.02%
Envelope 7ema 0.02%

Much more direct and it's easier to jump on trends / momentum!!

Right Method check, back on old method, should work well with a easier to code OverWatch keeping my losses small.

Envelope 11sma 0.02 and 0.04

Simple as, lets do a quick Profit / Fail test, rules are try to go with 11's direction, play the range and exit on the range failing. OverWatch will keep the SL trailing under the 11's 0.04 ( allow for Bid / Ask Spread ) won't move against me and won't on DAX be closes than 6pts current price.

Quick flick, it works, only my inability to keep losses small, screwing me over, hence over watch, coding time.
 
OverWatch on V2.

Calcs the SL to put outside the Envelope and Short side adds ( Ask - Bid )

If <6 then ups to 6 and >12 goes to 12.

Not moving or trailing at the moment, work to get to!!

Interestingly, while testing random orders I blew 1K in testing on a 25K account LOL
 
This is loads less stressful :). Get it tightening SL later to further reduce losses.

11 setup working well, issue being letting losers run, which i cant do anymore.

New Car is EPIC, Baby Ferrari, handles flat, comfy but arms and shoulders hurt and neck so hmmmmm LOL and the engine pulls from 1000revs and just rips your head off, no where near full throttle, faults puncture tyre or wheel, brakes feel odd, early signs of head gasket going ( water in oil ) will K Seal it asap.

Method, back to my tried and tested 11's setup, but using an EA to stop my lack of MM and enforce strict EXIT rules, out of my control, I can't over ride literally and should sort out my being stupid issues !!
 
Around we go, I keep going for faster settings and I'm sucky at faster, got to give up.

Method 18sma, Envelope 18sma 0.03 and 0.06, SL at 0.08 initial open Far out, hate accidental SL hits.

Standardising on 8min, 15max accross the board, and removing US500 from my trading.

Direction change = take loss, before full SL cost, that's like worse case scenario, but stops me getting into the $1000 down on 1 trade fun, while trying to make 50 LOL
