Market conditions too different, fx chop unplayable mostly, dax and ym trend think i have a work around, which will still work for previous conditions, not for fx mind.

Trading its a pain.
 
Method revamped, end of month hassles out of the way, weather still HOT ( went to the beach, only damn place in the UK to be cloudy and raining, not 1 bikini SOB SOB )

Method had a tweak or 2, wasn't working in faster markets and I was trying to play really strong chop that looked like trend as trend and would of been getting chopped, thankfully got scared and stopped trading.

Index Settings .......

Envelope 8sma 0.03 & 0.08
Envelope 30sma 0.02% ( Trade with direction / side filter to focus on more profitable trades and maybe holding longer )

Forex.

Same but 0.02 0.06 and 0.01 tighter ranges as less movement.

Lets get back on it!!
 
Easing back in, no trades yet, HOT as hell still, heat stroked from the drive home despite cloud and rain on the beach LOL

Getting back into the flow and how to enter with the flow and use tweaked method to avoid stupid counter trend or fast whip saw moves.

Created a method, where Live nothing lines up so no trade is ever taken, or atleast very very rarely LOL

And lets try another way of looking at the same issue, 1 that creates entries LOL

Index's

Envelope 24sma 0.06%
SMA 24
Envelope 8sma 0.03%

FX same but 0.04% and 0.02% as ranges less.

Envelope 24's chop range with direction is quite high, use the Env 8 setup for 1st entry, then 2nd entry near, exit on breaking the 24 range, more how I prefer to trade.

Current conditions, method looks idea, ( if I exit on the Range breaking against me ofcourse and hold on breaking with me really )

YM Last week 28th Worked. End of last year, fine aswell.

Prev setting of 12 looks pretty good, but a lot more fake trend reverses this week.
 
Time to get head out of arse and start playin ( had about 3 hours of sleep last night, 1 kid hospital run, got home kid that lives with me not there, went to a part 20miles away, work at 8am first day shift, LIFE ! )

GU is going flat and looking to turn down waiting short entry.

EU, still downward short entry here.

YM, Strong uptrend, should of joined 2mins ago.

DAX moved to lower 24 range, hesitated nearly got in, be +10 here already, weak uptrend so didn't take it.

Keep writing them down, keep seeing the results then when confidence re grows start taking them, is the plan.

No news for 4hours check!!

Reducing Lot sizes for first trades, been over a week since proper trading :(
 
took 2nd position 24.401 +65 here, LOVE a break up for once in my damn life!!

24 weaking though, first trade OUT +$70 :)

Summary of above....

GU held short at the top 24 0.04 line
EU turned up, can't win them all!!
YM worked obviously :)
DAX lower price to upper 24 then pulled back lower held, then back to upper

3/4 trends held, 8 range called the reversal on EU, might of faded out.

All going back to normal and professional here :)
 
EU upper range reversed missed it, GU didn't want to jump on the short term momo back short, also missed it.

Ranges, kicking BUTT serious BUTT!!

About to take a YM Long and just jumped up +10 damn it!! :)(
