Need somewhere to think out loud,

No more trades up $270 +11.7% on the day, WHY WORK, JUST WHY!!! ( cause losing days happen LOL )

+28% on the month, nice!!!


If you read above a few posts, this is what I expect to happen.........

1. I do well, make consistent profits, small losers.
2. I make a moderate loss lose plot then make more = pain or 1 big huge loss.
3. Upon 2 I make more losses, change method trying to solve issue, lose interest and start back at 1, some months later.

I need to get better at 1 so more/bigger profits :)
I need to get better at controlling losses ie 2, reducing the hits to a level I'm still profitable
I need to skip 3 and go straight back to 1 and just keep working on both.

How many times I have to cycle through 1 and 2 before I'm truely profitable is the question? Sadly 15years in already so fully expect it could be another year or 3 :(

But I know what I needs to do, 1 - 2 - 1 -2 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 2 - 1 -2 - 1 - 2 - 1 -2 not go back to 3!!!

Last big loser -$620 in 4seconds was 18th April, 1's improved since then, better profits to compensate better atleast :) Picked myself up quicker than normal to :)

Next week, serious effort to trade 2 hrs per day every day, then build on the time, then build account and lot size, then I can have the good things in life ( better Mountain bikes and hookers )

0. Sit at screen, failing to take good entries cause they don't look good then move 15+pts my way :(

Confidence, to trust the MAE's and take on a move the opposite way, trusting MAE's will 80%+ likely kick in, is tricky.
 
No trades too much work and wussing the few setups I saw, which wasn't many, trading excersize, work / not work and what's the better object to trade!! ( YAWN! Sleep! )

GU Pretty nice 80% win rate.

EU nicer, very stable and slow turns 90% win rate.

DAX messy 75%

Nice enough, nice enough!!

1 more day of work then trading time :) no work scheduled for the first week, must get on it!!
 
Just watching today, looking good, but not in the mood to care, next week start putting the hours in.

Try to work on, not losing confidence and not taking trades, my entries are counter intuitive in the very short term which makes it a confidence game big time.

KNACKERED weekend off!!
 
Friday demo trading with girlie next door, shes getting the plan might be trading in my absence aswell.

She sees my issue and hestitant like myself being....

Mae 14 0.04 uptrend, market pulls back fast to lower band, it looks like its going to go straight through, 80% of the time it will reverse and quickly, so you have to put yourself in harms way blindly with zero thinking time ( Ashey Slashy would say, don't think just trade )

Get the first trade out of the way on the day and I can start doing it, starting requires hours of watching to build confidence, which is wasted profits.

Other issue is, hour or 2 of putting cash in harms way and I'm stressed out, can't do much more.

Smaller trade size doesnt help with above, just lowers my interest to trade.

Few hurdles to get over before full time, business is toast so nothing to lose, time to up my game!

Tuesday, on pc for 9am COFFEE, warm up, trading 9:45am after UK 9:30 news!!!

Got to start applying myself!! NEED CASH!!!

Worrying the extra pressure of NEED CASH might make me try to hard mind LOL
 
Woman issues might have it sorted, not the out come I odd liked so far but atleast the using and head games seem to be over.

Clients have ZERO Work left for me, same client for 10years, I'll get support pay don't need to make much trading wise to cover what I'm down, need to full time trader before that gets pulled mind.

Change is good :) keeps life vaguely interesting!!
