Need somewhere to think out loud,

Trading wise, Called an EJ bottom @121.65 area, sadly someone came around, made a quick $100 so I'm up slightly on the day $50 area.

Need to trust and hold the 12's direction more, my issue is I'm trading the low, while 12's in a downtrend, not trusting the short near the top like I should be, and it goes lower, so large SL and 2 or 3 positions to compensate, IF I shorted with trend, tight SL single position, much more profit.

Still see ZERO reason for a method change :)
 
Realised 1 issue, had the ranges to wide, with trend yes they reverse around that area so loads of counter trend trades, but never gets to high of range while in a downtrend say, so not getting any with trend trades.

Or by the time I do get near that range, Momo's to strong and trends changed, why I keep picking the damn losers time after time.

5 at 0.03% and 12 at 0.04% rather than 4 and 6.
 
Liking the tighter method, starting to get the confidence to say, well we are going down, this little up moves stalled, short it and hold for the down move to do its thing.

Crack that mental block and i should be rich by the end of which ever year i crack it, given 6months left, if not next year, yep odds on this year are low lol

Sim short 10303, top 12 holding so far at 299, 297 best really.

So.....

1. Slow time, no here stuff here!!
2. Go with 12, if 12 starts to turn while in, cheap exit out ASAP.
3. Hold for more pt's that 12 has good runs at the right times.
4. Back to single position entries are looking SHARP!!
5. Sort out my stinging eyes, can't focus enough to trade LOL
 
ISSUE :-

New method is looking too GOOD why haven't I spotted this earlier ? not like I've not likely tried these exact settings a few times, maybe trying at the wrong times, or maybe it's working currently but will fail miserably as always real soon ?

1st April, slow times FINE!!
1st Feb FINE!!

Stick to slow inside range Momo plays and looks great!! News and Market open times, don't bother.

Need to move my life around a bit to be available to trade at those times.
 
It has always been there, but you been changing so many parameters, you never gave anything a chance. I hope you stick with this awhile, you have to learn how price dances around to grasp better when not to take trades as they would be going against support/resistance, if you did this more often, I see most of your losses cause you fighting what the market is showing to be getting in when you should have not gotten in at all.

Boredom is a big issue, that's what I realised and why I tightened my ranges today...

I was never taking trend trades, was missing them as not perfect, then taking stupid stupid stupid, counter trend trades out of boredom and to give it a shot, when I did take trend trades, they'd already broken out and changed direction so got slapped also.

Brains getting slowly reprogrammed to function as a trader :)

Work tomorrow :( TOO damn hot and humid and airless anyway here, can't think straight and still suffering from over doing it Saturday on the bike.

I have learned like 25 tricks playing a yoyo, I keep weights in my office to strengthen arms, have treadmill, boxing gloves, dart board with Hillary's picture on it, do anything else than hit the mouse.
