Still in a 42 uptrend and DAX has been wildly bullish aswell recently 
Just a recent curve fit, but Envelope 42sma 0.07% called the bottoms and tops very nicely, checking history to see if fluke!
It's actually testing as with trend relevant, loads of with trend reverals, so 42 going up, pull back to low Envelope 0.07% has excellent chance of staying on trend, below no.
Same logic as the 12's
Chart attached, some fails at the start, broke below but help uptrend, just to be annoying, will post other examples, work and not shortly.

Market acting, ODD don't understand it at all, it's just.
This 12 and 9 I checked back, Trends failed, market is so damn fast it needs a 7sma setup to trade it And back on joining at the 6sma.
Consistency would be nice

7's better for the fast flow, when backed up by something else.
Optomise the something else time., 42's good, 30 better today, 24 very nice 0.1% nice.
18, too fast, 20 too fast.
24 looks to be the number for the limited back testing I've done I'll admit.
Testing WELL back about 2 weeks.
Reverses for some off lower 24, ran into 24/high 7, 24 turned down and down she's going, downtrend in effect.

We be playing the same trades, which is cool, I'm trying to cut out the shorts on that chart as they run wild at times.
So after 3mins from entry, you SL moved to +1 if in profit, if not in profit then your TP moves to +1 quick exit, not a loss, try again.
What SL size do you use initially ??

Still waking up, getting head around, slightly slower 12sma based and 42sma H&L back to, does look nicer, smoother.
Maybe I'll get the urge to put money at risk soon, more coffee first mind
