Deleted the 9sma envelope, made me attempt to play chop to often = BAD!!

Few things I need to crack live!!

1. Avoiding choppy conditions with low MoMo!
2. As long as the 8's direction is the right way, let it run!

Market goes back to strong, big swoops like a few days ago and I'm onto a winner.

Got to get more reward for my risk though, reduce the risk a tad aswell so better entry, which is possible I think, I seemed to only be around during volatile times today, totally missed those 100pip with multiple entry moves :(

After some sleep and thinking time.....


Realise, new method works great at the tight time, it was the area I wanted to improve, but useless in chop ofcourse.

So 24range back in play, its slow enough to get a break out from, which is when 7envelope comes into play.

I have 3 trade types....


1. 7 based direction action, strong momo, break outs from 24 range.
2. 24 range both directions if flat.
3. 24 range with direction if not flat.

I need to stick them together, or only trade 1 stick to trying to get bigger winners, see how i feel monday, never a lot left after spread and comms for range play.

Maybe 1 and 3, fast and slow momo.

Yep slow and fast momo ignore and avoid chop, wastes too much time, to often on the wrong side of start of move = loss and move missed.


Should handle enough market conditions, to always be making good $$$$$s which is the full time requirement.

TIRED but.........

GA test, 9am Friday.......

Slow Down, short near top of 20 range, work, spike maybe SL, work, work, break down into 7 trade speed, maybe too quick, another entry, top of 7 short work.

I want to start nailing, 20-30pip moves on a regular basis and soon.

Easy!!!!

GA 10am 15th Sept,

Uptrend, 7fast, 20moderate, +30 before fail, 4 positive entries before the turn. 7 did turn before the turn down, but lets be honest kill all trades based on the 7 and I'm screwed.

7 down, 20 down, shorting top of 7 worth +25

Cluster, reverse a bit, back down, back up, could join short, not worth much, before cluster and back up again, up stays in 20's range for a short but really, looks like it'll break out!

Nice down move, likely only worth +12

The 20, gives the impression of appearing to work, live not so sure :(
 
Arghhhhhhhh, 20fails to often, I'd never trust it, even if profitable.

The only way I've been able to make $$$'s recently, is to jump on the 7's direction for bigger moves,

Creates an it's going up, join, off it's just chop I'm mis reading, lose!! :(

So 7 envelope is all I've really got to work with, but it's too fast for general market use, arrgghhhhh again!!

13envelope mixed with single 7 0.03% if looking plausible, still testing.

Yes, interesting, looks like 13 is the sweet spot, slow as you can go before the momo edge starts to fall off big time.

Easy, trade the 13's range for the 13's direction, SL outside, that'll cover slow momo times, faster Momo switch to the 7 ( only when 13 same way ), SL still outside the 13's unless it's miles away ofcourse.

Need to keep the 7 it's making very nice $$$'s, but need to reduce the chop plays which give too much back, too annoying.

Always another Catch 22 situation :( Live Test this tomorrow, full lot size looks promising :)
 
Looking some what promising so far, can't trade yet, 10pip spread ecccks madness.

Been scrolling back to random times, F12ing to move 1 bar at a time, then placing sim trades and generally results are great, in a switch on, watch for 5mins and trade, walk away style which is how I do my best work.

EA turned up, 13Env going up, pull back to lower 7 and reverse.

Ofcourse, thinking that quick, taking the chance in those few seconds that lower 7 will hold and reverse is the tricky call, cause it looks like it's going down hard.

Keep progressing, Grail is getting nearer, my life time ?? we shall see LOL
 
No trades as yet, watching, the correct amount of variables but also too many and there is only 2 LOL

DAX worked GREAT, perfect tracking down the 7 then the 13 caught a tiny up blip, and the cross up also perfect.

I'm still not trusting the 12, reading to much into the randomness, eg.

EA just, 7 and 13 down, setup for a short top of 7 which worked perfectly, didn't go far enough I see, ( I went to the loo ), so it would of likely cost me holding for more.

EA slipped into a chop range, can't see that, charts too small, fixing that.
 
Okay, seeing the Momo and when it's not clearer.

If I'd of taken the GA short with the 13 as it's trending today I'd be +20 area here, that up spike might of taken me out with reduced profit, like 5pips.

Basically, going wih the 13 improves my odds, going with the 7 also improves, both together improves more.

Need to improve at spotting MoMo and entering with it, efficently!!

Joining DAX lower 13 at 10126, 7 just put a top in, can the 7 turn up with the 13 or will it Downtrend ??
