Back, lets try to focus and plan and trade.

GA, dropped while out, put in a cluster base, moving up off that, options...

1. join the 4's upward direction. Struggling!!
2. look for 4 weakness / cluster to reverse with then play the downtrend based on the 42.

( 42sma is back LOL )

GA, GJ similar pattern.

GU's in a stronger uptrend, looking to join long, 4 is pulling back currently so stuck till that stalls.

GA, is clawing it's way higher still, momo is up.

Back again!!

Everything put in a cluster and turned, doubt I'd of played it, but would of liked to of seen it confidence wise, arrseeee!!

GU, still weak, in a uptrend 42, down 10, down 4, so yeah, but too slow to trade off clusters, so would have to take a chance on trend holding.

Joing DAX could of made $80 I guess, GJ / GA $40 area after there comm's

GBPCHF isn't trading well at all today either, which is good, stupid margin requirement.

GU still drifing down

DAX clustered, low 10 and moved up nicely, very quickly just, too slow.

Buyers on all G's, no way to predict and get in that.

Slow Markets, low volume, moves out of know where, constant direction changes are the issue of the week.

Fast Markets, good trend I'm golden, but If I make F all for 6 weeks of slow and this is the 3rd week pretty much, then I'm going hungry!

GU's clustering, long might work, 2 ways of looking at it, which way it breaks no 1 knows, probability 52% is down so should short top of the cluster, SL over upper 10.

Atleast I'm thinking! kinda!

Could of made 10pips on GU I guess, short, got to trust the 10's range, been there before doesn't end well at times.

GJ similar, 183.90 sellers but yeah, thin!

GA Dead.

DAX put in a vague cluster and turned up off, even the 4 was to slow to call Momo over, Heiken Ashi called it, shorting at 63 could work, SL tight!!

Checking other markets ..........

US30, SPX, NQ RUBBISH compared to spread, no point trying today atleast, which is the normal.

UKOil, nice movement, Spread of 5 for 25range approx tricky.

USOil, better movement, spread of 5 still, but but 30-40pt moves, MIGHT make it worth while, Momentum and Trend score is HIGH!! :) +25 clear just ( checking Margin LOL, High $8 per pip max currently dratts ), needs different settings 0.1% and 0.25% pain.

DAX huge sell wave missed while theorising, ohhh well :(

GOLD also looking AWESOME, 100pip move just, it's where the action is today, spead mid 4.5 area, so 1 pip worse than GA
 
US Oil first despite low trading value :(

Fire spitting, trend following, strong MoMo hunk of perfection so far.

Performs to 10 rules well and 4, strength is unreal/

Yep I have GOT to start trading USOil, 5 spread or not.

GOLD!!

Spread 4.2-5.2. Comm's 0.00 thankfully.

Not as good as Oil, a LOT of spikes to HURT Badly I'm sure, does not have the MoMo strenght, too changeable.

GOLD is not cleared! :(


I just fear those moves are going to spike and SL me well well into the SL, like hey there goes your entire account, in a 2 seconds spike.
 
OIL is the solution to all my worries, why I had to drop the Margin arrseeeeeee, previous decision ruining it for me.

I think I'll go 1/2 size for a while, so $4 per pt, just had a 40+ pt move so that's $160 very nice.

UK Oil is on my charts aswell, they move on there own, has some good moves aswell.

Gold, hasn't got the Momo of Oil.

DAX still my fav, missed a really good move while sorting out issues :(
 
Okay tired, I had a little sleep LOL old age !!

DAX performed profitably in my absense.

GA just noise.

Gold, not enough movement to cover the 4.2 spread I fear. Keeping it around, while trending it's fine and 100pts do happen in no time.

USoil, profitable till 7:30 then flat lined.

UK similar, the moves are 25-30, so 15-20 for me, all, some on trend 50+ moves, +40 for me, that's +$160, okay it's not great, push the margin harder later and get to $10+ when account grows.

Atleast Oil is moving!!
 
Gold is in, works well, just got to pick my trades I guess.

Back Testing Gold and USOil, where FX seems to have weeks of uselessness, GA US Session no movement at all today for instance, Gold and Oil seem to hold the same pattern nicely.

Basically, MoMo is so high, you can trade the 10's direction, getting in using the 4's range, simple as simple and repeatable, which is the dream.

FX just dies the death, too much, none movement so when it moves I've already lost interest.

Gold and Oil at 1/2 margin requirement sounds sensible.

IF I get on well with Gold and Oil then might need to jump ship to a proper futures account :(

Save $25 per Gold trade and $35 per Oil trade, 10 trades per day = LOADS of money!!

I guess initial SL of 20pts, so $80, can't run tight with spreads of this size.

+15-+30 is going to be typical, I guess!!
 
Plan modified, trading 6 charts.......

DAX, GPBAUD, EJ
GOLD, UK Oil, US Oil

Theory being, most of the time 1 of them will have some kind of trend.

Then I just keep is simple, take the 4 / HA turn back with the 10/42's direction using the 10's range also.


Never as easy live ofcourse, but 20SL ( 15 after spread ), looks to be enough, cost $80, those are the setups I'm after, awesome carry through, where as GA recently carry through 4 pips and die, nooo!!

Live HA / the 4 might mislead, so results won't be as perfect ofcourse, 70% win rate is my standard think I'll fit it.

US30 ie YM in spot world, 4 spread also traded very well, during the US session only, keep my options open and all that.

Sleep, might actually place a trade tomorrow, been a while, profit would be nice.


Need a 3rd monitor, too many charts!!

And a 2nd Ipad mini ( Sony 8" tablet most likely ), want to trade FX pickup the black 1, want to trade Oil pick up the white 1, not that it takes long to swap template but lazy and would help with battery run time, having 2.
