okay, tweaked the 24??? to 30SMA, fits better, works better on FX to :)

Chart attached, with entries I'm trying to take highlighted and the X's are trades I shouldn't be trying to take.

I like how it stayed within the 30 range and followed the 30 direction, and the call at the top near the close, reversed right on cue then reversed off a less momentum strength point, sweet.

Check the downtrend on EJ aswell, respects the 120ema nicely and the 10 and 30 ranges.

Just got to get head into game and stop fighting it LOL

I trade via FXCM using spot, so 5 pts I think, or 4.2 maybe, 50 (5) for Gold, when it's not trending it likely has a 15pt range, where as DAX has a 20pt range for 1pt spread.

Trending it's great, but can't bring myself to trade it often, 5 times in total maybe same with gold.
 
How does the FXCM contracts work? I don't think I can trade those CFD's being I'm in US. All I have access to for DAX is Eurex futures at 12.5 euros a tick.

I hear you can't do CFD's in USA, your ownly way is futures, not an expert been 10years since I breifly had a futures account.

I can scale the price down to $0.125 or something, trade $12.50 aswell, down to $6.25 today, then upto $37.50 for that final trade, it annoyed me!!

How NOT to trade in short, BAD week, likely just pushing myself to hard to make profits and forcing trades, will sort it, few days off will help!
 
Slow the 120ema to 140ema it works better on DAX no real change on FX, 120 really isn't relevant ever, strangely 140 is so ??

Should of bought into the GA up turn, 60pips easy on offer there after hours.

EJ, should of gotten the down and with that base in for 10mins, I'd of played that long, tight SL so back up to.


More patience on the entry, more like last week, waiting for the perfect setup missing many, but rarely if ever taking a loss.

GREED needs removing !! :(

SLEEP, work and car MOT tomorrow, just watch, back on it after loads of sleep Monday, I can do better ( hard to do worse LOL )
 
Meeting got cancelled, but few jobs to do, just going to watch, sim trade get head back in the game.

Trending fast 10 entries work the best, there pretty much guaranteed to profit and well, gets you in frequent moves that go 100pts at times.

Dax just had a nice up move, momentum turned it at the inner 10 a few times, before running out top of the 30 range, touched the 140ema and straight down to lower 10 then bounced back to higher 10.

Ga i spotted it, stopped watching doh! Turned off 140, its 30 range and upswing 35 area so far, 10 called the monentum change.

Its all about momentum and chop merged, knowing which one probability wise and reacting correctly is key.


GA stalled out and reversed at the 30 range lol

If i was playing the dax range, long at 70 the nice quick +30 momentum move jacked her out of the 30 range, 100% momo dont get in the way off, lets see if it gives me a pull back and 10 then higher.


I had my brain back, last +977 whatever it was, I expected it to break the 00 hit SLs then head to 30range at 30 and it performed perectly, why I went hard, wasnt totally wrecklass.

All feels nice and slow today, just watching, got to get back to this state while trading, yesterday felt too fast, no time to think, too be fair it as a fast action packed day.

Back to normal monday, leave account at 50% call it a training day.

Dax nice, 1 bounce 10 slowed down, the last spike to 10011 looked like a stall and right down she goes, 140 called the end to the selling nice.

Eu momentum was building to downside, it grew and had a good sell off.

HUGE DAX move, didn't watch it sadly, 1 place to enter the stall and retest of 10020, trust it ?? doubt it LOL

30 range, working to many times to just be a coincidence, buy / sell programs and simple logic have to be thanked for this :)
 
Nice action, wish I was trading today, back on mission for sure, better, maybe :)

Less focus on HA, unless it's a BIG momentum move, for noise, just get in near the ranges and suck it and see, 80% of the time it'll get to profit, tighten SL, take profit or see if trend has more in it I guess.

REPEAT!!

Haven't worked it out, think -$200 area on the week, account is up $1000 area though, due to the day deletion LOL And I learnt a few things.

And FXCM might fail, arrggghhhh! Alpari just did, need to go else where, which sucks as all setup and tablet / phone tradeable which suits me nicely and what is guaranteed not to fail and I'll lose my lot flexibility if I go Futures proper! :(

Weekend, SLEEP, back on it Monday 1/2 sized first, new method is looking AWESOME :)
