Need somewhere to think out loud,

It's slowed down and got my head around it more maybe, much clearer.

Got to get out of the habit of fighting the market, ofcourse the few trades I do right conspire against me, which does not help.

Shame I didn't get back in near the 10000 and hold to 45 area, would of put me well up on the week, who knew it would go back into chop / range mode ? I should of!!
 
Another direction turn on dax, shot up, pulled back and reversed at my buy spot for 20pts so far.

sIM OUT 10012, +9, 10 is flattening, so might turn back down, no newer high.

Expect lower low, should of flipped short.

Predictable weaking of the DAX there, lower high, 10 flat, and down she wasnt, 15pts but hey 5 times per day and I'm 1 happy lad.
 
Sounds like you made back half your loss yesterday already? If so, awesome. I've never traded DAX but I've heard it takes stones. Are you trading the futures contract from Eurex or one of those CFDs?

Yep, I have, but it was a bit of desperate pissed off stupid gamble to be honest, so goes down as a bad trade I just got LUCKY on, not that I believe in luck LOL

DAX is just more directional, if your a try to pick bottoms and play reversals trader then DAX will chew you up, as it will apear to stop then keep trucking for 100pts murdering you repeatedly.

But if you can jump on the direction, then you can make the 100pts which murders everyone else.

EU or NQ ( futures ), which most people trade, don't move that much, so if you pick a bottom and your wrong, odds are your ownly off by 10pips or so before it chops back, flip side if you just on momentum then it'll likely stall and reverse on your repeatly.

DAX also normally has a 1pip spread, 3 today due to madness, which with it's good range makes it super scalpable for me :)

Working tomorrow, need a break, trading wears me out still, need to get back to an automatic thing I do, with zero stress, work on that next week LOL
 
Oil, blipped and back to down day, interesting, more weakness to come, only watch as I like cheap fuel :) not that it makes a huge difference, spread be huge :(

Where are you trading it? The nymex CL contract spread is only a tick or 2.
