60ema changed to 50 for more seperation.


I really think i have cracked it, got to get head around it better, but 7 trades, 6 profits looking sweet, +$450 ish i think.

Wayyy happier than yesterday, after a stupid half hour, i can trend trade it didnt take weeks to get ut back, its becoming more automatic that means, finally.
 
+$411, don't like the Comms being seperated out these days on my account that's $60 on Comm's, but it does ( sorry FXCM I doubted you ), knock 1 - 1.4 pips of per trade on average still for GPBAUD which is a saving of likely $60 area, not so bad.

-$104 on the week still, but bad days are expected, the overall picture is key!!
 
Why did I stop trading, missed a huge move on the DAX just :( nice 1's on GA aswell.

Too busy high fiving myself I think, I should be up atleast $1000 today.

How I was trading, quick back test and looks valid long term :) but in a weeks time will I remember the secret and have the balls to take the trades.

Basically, market going down, look to take a short near the top of the 8 channel, sounds easy but trusting it and actually playing it, was a HUGE step in the right direction today!!

Monday will try to keep monday free, booked up the next 2 days :(
 
Advantage to GA, it's 24/5 could of made $500 on the 1.8900 failing easy!!

How did I miss the Envelope 8sma 0.05% setting, I tried 6 I swear and similar, been searching for this for months but missed it, couldn't find a channel with this strength, very odd, this move down had 2 spikes to test and fail within 0.5pips of the top range, 3rd entry pretty close to.

My ownly guess is I had it previously, had a bad day and moved on blaming the method or I couldn't trust the entries back then so went onto something else.

If only someone would of said to me 8years+ ago, just drop a 8sma envelope on and trade with that's direction, I'd be rich or dead from doing something stupid with the money, could ofcourse go either way :)
 
Quick +$106 on GA while watching old top gear, shoulda held for the break out but hey me happy, worry to much it will get sold hard.

Trading dax with 50% more value, take the GA training wheels off soon.


gA is more tradeabke evenings and AUD open i guess, maybe jpy ?

Try to trade every day if only a little, not like i cant trade everywhere, but where i work most days, no data at all.


Find out which network has data there and get a mifi data plan might solve that issue.

Coulda maybe exited cheaper but not a real concern.


Setting sl to 20 emergency only, takes too much time moving, then there is the pesky too close rejected, mostly manual exits from here :)
 
Yeah coulda got 50 i guess, was worried about a turn up from that huge support area 9860 area thats being bought all last hour or 2.

DOH!! reading my account wrong, profit on the 1 screen is without Comm's ( new to FXCM ) +$77 today, not bad messing around during the USA lunch break slow time.

So current method on day 2 kinda is +$428, 10 trades, 2 losers 80% win rate, pretty cool for day #2.

Training wheels off GA up $12.50 area per pt so matching DAX.

SL's staying at 20, just protection against fast moves and falling asleep / loss of 3g / internet really, don't plan to let anything get that far, rules say it's going the wrong way, EXIT simples. Can't handle the moving it, being knocked out by little spike and reverses, bla bla bla.

Method is looking awesome, HA + the 8sma Range = perfection, quite liking GA, it's suitably different to DAX, miss a trade setup on the 1 and the other will have 1 soon enough.


Work all tomorrow, no chance, might have Monday and Tuesday free to trade next week we'll see, need to put some hours in though!! :(

No work lined up for next month really, so expecting Jan to be mostly trading, cash flows okay till end of Feb then 1/2 trading account 1/2 work for a month or 2 before going full trading I think!!

Sounding like a plan!!
