Out +5 5 seems to be the number of the day :(

Typically at +10 here, +12, dratts, I bailed expected a fail again and it kept going.

I'm trading too scared, slacken it up just slightly, too slow on the entry aswell, had order up 3 pips lower would also help.

But hey still $74.50 LOL :(
 
Well my killing losers quickly is coming along nicely, 8/10

my entries are not perfect so 7/10

my letting profits run errm yeah 3/10

+20 here, which would be a okay bit of change, but still just change.

Weekend off, tricky getting back into, work tomorrow, then trading maybe rest of the week don't know yet!
 
Oil was where it was at today, and Gold that's why DAX was dead as.

I wasn't going to start trading oil / gold until account was higher and better with method the spread size puts me off and the huge ranges, but guess I might aswell start on them with reduced Lot sizes.

Lets trade at $3 per pt on USOil guess a 20SL, 5 of which is the spread.

Same on Gold, but 200pt SL as it trades in 1/10th's, 30cents per pip hateful numbers on gold, good job I'm all graphical :) 4.6 - 4.8 spread on gold, NASTY.

Got to be pretty sure to make up for the damn spreads, trend days ONLY!!
 
First oil trade +9 so +$27, gets me over the $100 today $101.15 :)

Not so bad, moves enough to make the 5pip damn spread just about worth it, if it was a 2pip spread I'd be in and out all day!!

Does trend well on a day where DAX is barely managing a 5pip range.

Ditching gold, just learn 1 new thingy at a time, interesting the 20SL auto failed, but no huge real issues maybe.
 
Oil action is good, she moves well, performs well to HA and to my MA's and Envelope ranges, $3 per pt so $60 max loss, should hit regular profits $90 - $120 area fairly easily.

There was $200+runs early on, get some experience move upto full size $6 ( same SL cost as DAX ish ).

Hopefully it'll mean less sitting on my ass waiting for stuff and more profits :)


Confidence on 20K end of the year is improving :)
 
Barclays bank have sent me 2 text messages about fraud on my account, and rang me 6 damn times, you don't get to shout at a human just a speaking machine, even listened to it sure as hell not ringing up there "frauding" line, can't cancel it as I have 2 phones that if not answered bounce it to the other phone, arrgghhhh!!!!

I haven't got a barclays account by the way!!

Atleast the " we see from your records you've had a accident " brigade have finally stopped ringing me 5x's per day.

And a write up of the markets today, to assess the method ( no plans to change ever again ), so close to holding for big ish profits on 2 trades doh!!

DAX First, guess I over slept and missed the down and up move :(
All in all, very nice, even the chop section was called and could of been played, but needed balls to just jump in, maybe 1/2 lot size, SL to 20 and 2nd position at -10 area during chop ??

Oil's performance, if not for the 5 spread is just freaky today, loads and loads of big trades all day long!

Work tomorrow, but should have 1 - 2 hours in the am to trade then watch at client, rest of the week is trading so far :) ( maybe :( if it ends up being a down week LOL )
 
No trades today, over slept, late as always, maybe if I get left alone enough at the client I'll slip some in :)

Maybe Oil this afternoon as it moves better than DAX generally!!

Or not!!
 
Back on it all day tomorrow, days off suck they let doubt creep in.

Trade smart, with the general trend and the immediate direction
Keep losses small.
Let profits run.

Few weeks for this to become 2nd nature, then boredom will kick in.

Lets see what tomorrow shall bring I guess, +$500 would be ideal and a real confidence booster.
