Another nearer, 1st October, randomly picked 10:30 as it's where it stopped.

Currently ranged 33 market slow uptrend so playing range.
Low range test, Long 9478, bored +6
New lows, downtrend look for shorts, moved chart doh!!Entries near the 10 only pretty much, moved a lot.
9420 basing, Long tight SL, +18,
Downtrend still in flip short 9441 +16
high 10 9435 short +12
9440 high 10 short +13
All sideways chop mode.
9442 short, went higher to test high 33, downtrend formed, 9375 buyers thats call it +60
take shorts high 10 tight SL


That's enough, I'm happy, I wasn't cheating no losers is just how good the method is my losses are generally stupid trades on my part, closed bars and not live tick is different, Live tick adds more worry, so that's the max theoretical gains in those periods, bat 50% of that then that'll do me.

I liked my market is doing X, look for entry to suite market approach here, I need to write down post here if time permits, what setup I'm looking to take, then TAKE IT!!

Also noticed, if trends are down then shorting near the 10 is actually good, it may peak it's head over ( extra Trade LOL ) then odds are it'll still go to 10 low's huge profits if so :)

Starting 8:20 by random,

Choppy uptrend, take lows of 33, Long 8927, out 8950 4mins
Uptrend gaining strength lows of 10's/ near 33
Long 8943, SL hit -10 quick blip up nothing I'd of exited on and DOWNTREND in.
Downtrend FAST enter near 10 Mid, short 8934 exit +25
Repeat short 8916, exit +20
Caution bounce of 8900 expected likely a trap
Enter DT top of 30 short 8920, out +10, 10sma turning up, argghhh too soon missed 100pts LOL
 
So basically I need to identify what the market is currently doing, it might change that's what SL is for, don't worry about it.

Options are ( will add later )

1. Chop in 33 Env
2. Slow 33 uptrend.
3. Medium 10 uptrend
4 Fast 10 uptrend
5 Slow 33 downtrend
6. Medium 10 uptrend
7 fast 10 downtrend
8. forming a base to bounce off.


Plan for above....

1. Play both sided till direction forms using 33 Env
2. Enter in the lower 33 area from SMA to Side on a pause really.
3. Enter on pull backs near low 10
4. Enter near 10sma, or any up tick to get a good price to join ( Need work here )
5. Reverse 2
6. Reverse 3
7. Reverse 4
8. Trend reversal pattern ( temp ), not tradeable to high risk, just expect trend change.

So what I'm going to do, is get a pen and some small note sticky thingys, ask myself the question, how to play, I will forget 5seconds later, so write it on note thingy stick on screen, so until I reevaluate market condition and remove / change the number that is the only setups I'm allowed to take.

Hoping that will increase focus, if I'm just looking for 1 thing, and evaluating if that's still right.


SL will be set at 12 compromising a tad I've decided.

Also, noticed it's too easy to read stuff into noise, from the price movement, so need an app for my phone and every 60seconds it'll make a tock sound subtle 1.

Found repeat timer, every 1 min or 5mins ( not inbetween but hey ) it'll BONG me, too prompt me to look at chart, stop the ohhhh 4 hours just flew by and I have missed 20mil pts :(

Time to get serious about blowing my account :)
 
Sticky fixes how much £10 nearly had a panic attack, then remembers i blew 2.5k in 15 mins kinda puts that into perspective i think eccckssssd.

Not going with numbers it will be. U S. Or. UM or UF or C, then i take all setups which conform to that.

ALL being the operative word, there is no point not taking them incase it fails as they all might fail, so trade till a fail then adapt to the new market the fall brings easy.
 
Post It's can also be used as a low tech, easy to move solution for a quick note of where I'm looking to buy and sell, much easier moving them around than drawing lines on the ipad.
 
Major power station is on big time fire in Oxfordshire, doubt it'll be functional for 6+ months, UK was on the cusp of rolling black outs if we had a hard winter with 1 nuclear power station down, so rolling black outs it is if there is any winter this year.

Going to be a fun winter, fellow brits
 
Just been testing GPBAUD on the method, M1 FAIL totally useless, switch it M5 and hey presto it works a treat.

Obviously M5 so it's slower so I'll need to trade it differently, so 25SL, $10 per pip and a 2nd position due to the large stop area around -10, total loss @$400 a very variable 5% currently.

Might work better for me, if at a client slower and all that, DAX is high speed blink and it's GONE!!
 
Rough start, first trade counter trend looked like a base in 33 uptrend, quick drop blew through SL nasty, 2nd trade Down Medium sub 5 seconds before it hit SL.

Dropping lot size to $12.50 this is getting stupid.
 
Today is annoying, downtrend great entries till 9am then big swings jumping around like crazy, Monday random news i guess, dont trade monday before 10:30 i guess.

All my testing did not find 1 am like today, typical.

Slowed 33 down to 42 added a 42 0.003 envelope, the tops and bottoms of this mega chop are fitting perfectly so far.
 
Yeah 10:30 all went back to normal, trading in the range was safe and fine downtrend medium called, entry upper 10 went down nicely twice as it should do.

Just tested 16 rather than 10 range upto 0.012, 10 had turned just keeping me out of a 30 pip move.

Need to test mega range later i guess at uk opens.


Calling all these moves down, but had my balls chopped off already.


The SL slipping dumped me $600 and other trade, first trade ran to $750 area, annoying.

All fixed, must work late lol
