Need somewhere to think out loud,

Before I forget my method and I was starting to already, all gets confused in the mix these days, too many attempts to many variations.

Rules :-

If the 11 has a strong direction, then I'm trading the direction near the 11sma line.

If the 11 is a bit, wishy washy then trade a slower trend, 11 over 60ema take longs near the low of 11.

Same rule, but 120ema for really slow markets.

If no direction at all, trade the 11's range.

Any long sweep, use HA to enter and exit.

Better, have a flying test of above!!
 
rewind back to 13th, not a F12 test just a overview test.

Defining the 11's speed is ofcourse damn near impossible, only bit of subjectness left on the table sadly, can't totally remove this :(

Opens up, 11>60, setup worked + 15
Fast sell off, impossible to say if I'd of taken it or not, SL hit close, 11>120, Longs near 9250 3 wins +10 +8 +35
Move down impossible to call no entry on route.
HA turned up, still Uptrend for +15 impossible to call it would go higher.
11 fast entry for +20
11>60 for +12
11>60 +5 ( be hard to call and entry so going low of profit )
11>60 failed down move, no idea after if I'd of taken it, but -10 to be fair.
11<60 +5 didn't really go anywhere.
low 11 chop long +10 or even +20

Quick fly through as that in my brain.

Rest of 13, loads of profits, a few losers ofcourse.
14th, some good times, some poor times still profitable. ( friday ahhh )
17th nice
18th handles the slow direction with loads of chop that's failing me :)


Actual live results will differ, bad entries, SL hitting spikes, bla bla bla but in generaly looks promising.

Looks simple and effect enough to just keep working.
 
My only issue is, entering the the 11 near the 11sma, options :-

1. Don't bother
2. Need a fall back position

1. reduces my income and puts me at risk of counter trending.
2. If I only take trade 11>60 Long or 11>120 Long then if the 11sma does break then stilll good odds on the low 11 range holding and going to upper 11.

So, 2... SL move below 11 range, take a 2nd position tight SL.

if it breaks down but then continues higher afterwards which odds are it will then better over all than taking a loss, increases the risk on 11 setups sure but without risk, never going to get rich!!
 
Liking the action on GBPAUD / Gold and Oil to this method, shame my spread charges are too high for anything but fast strong moves to jump on :(

May have to sort out a proper futures broker, just to trade Oil / Gold only when on the PC.


SLEEP must try hard to trade and not slack tomorrow!!
 
So far so promising, up a tad, missing the runners, just a monday lazy thing though.


Oil is getting all the attention again, not ready to jump on that with this method, but wishing i had done.
 
Hit my $300 target for the day, shorted DAX 9790 to 9887 +13 just ( $12.50 per pt ), few other small trades and hey presto.

Not bad for day #1 on the new method ( yes DAX is going further ) and a Monday aswell, simple as no drama's are losses, sweet :)

What to do with myself, although only spent 30mins trading today, maybe gym ? CV ( too cold to ride bike ) then Sauna, hmmm!!
 
Here is the chart with the new setup for the day, not a great day.

Method is kicking butt though, really simple, HA does it's job nicely compliments it.

Up target to $500 per day soon :) then double lot size $1000 per day reasonible target I honestly think and basically start printing money.

Or it might become totally useless in 2days time, wait and see :(


Trust is high and that's key when risking $$$'s.
 
Defo looking promising, getting it all to work together, with tight SL / Risk management, rather than the bit I'm most thinking about working and the rest going to shite and back/
 
Can always tell, when I've got it dead to rights, I get SUPER busy :( prefer to be trading but it's a risk I can't afford to take, so work I sadly must :(

Method is working in chop and in moderate speed trend, I avoid high speed madness so that's fine with me :)
