Gold no spread widen and close until US Close +1hour, NQ spread doubles, so can trade easily for extra hour, see how it looks in 1hours time when it comes back I guess. ( 5pts profit in after hour downtrend just )

Got previous method on other device still, really like it still, but must move on and move to a slower set of rules, less predicty.
 
New plan is adapting......

Simpler in execution so single range but wider, easier auto SL wise which is back.

So trade with 24lwma only rule #1 ( maybe based on 10s position? )

10lwma range H+0.05 and L-0.05 enter with range, market first then then place limits.

Mainly less thinking, see direction, place orders to go with ride trend let it ride, more hands off.

Less lazer focus and tight SLs and trying to call every start of new trend to only get the first bit.

Gold is key, dax might be out, still like NQ.
 
Kinda Glad I lost that 1K the other day, making me rethink my trading method :)

Gold Long +$150 and holding, trend UP and strong, News soon so better bail.

NQ also Long not worried about Comm's as longer play, +$50 here, same applies I guess.

Much, easier, Much Slower, Much less Frantic :)

Dumped DAX, just Gold and NQ mainly Gold Trends are stronger.

Slowed Range down to 12lwma H+0.06% and L-0.06%, and 24Lwma to trade with.

NQ seems to Lead Gold aswell, which is a handy cheat :)

do not forget that nowadays gold is very hot, it's near the multi year extremum so this is the reason why it is trending intraday nicely but it will not last forever and gold is generally trending market so for any trending animal it is best to step into 2nd leg, never 1st one to avoid fake runs. This will reduce number of trades but impove the quality and in the long run will be more profitable

Edit: other way to handle 1st and 2nd runs. You may test time stops if you prefer the first run. This mean - trade should be profitable after X minutes, if not - it should be liquidated regardless of current P/L OR - as option - the profit taking should be replaced to breakeven. The second option is generally worse because it uses YOUR entry which is not related to price action.... in the end this is question of testing etc... since you are pro coder you have advantage here

I'll just have to find, what's good to trade next when it slows down, dropped DAX as too much chop, I'm sure it'll be back, NQ still trends well.

My Method has changed, got rid of the 5lwma range, so trading more of the over all trend, with out going to slow to be irrelevant.
 
Start hitting it proper next week, it's slow enough to trade via a tablet, so not stuck at home on the screen, walking around, gym.

Another +$100 on Gold just, got in, had order for 2nd position lower ( SL takes care of itself) checked and hey presto, +$100 TAKE.
 
NQ Short +$230 nice, looked like a failure, but 24lwma kept it on trend and SL far enough away to keep me in, before SL hit, back in, SL hit, Back in, got me back to BE LOL

-$60 Gold reverse prior to that.

I'm finally getting to be a 1/2 1/2 1/2 good traders, yep 12.5% good LOL
