Need somewhere to think out loud,

Tried a DAX Long, wasn't going anywhere, NQ going higher so took a BE Exit and ran.

Timing is also key, got to be around the start of trend times, not at the end of trend times :(

Around 1 hour before to follow and get head in the game really.
 
Cluster retested then went up nicely well +10.

Then entry that didn't go very far, then next entry held and nice move up from 2nd +8, or 1st +4.

Fighting for scrap never good, should of been around earlier to join trend then hold for +20pts or +30 maybe.
 
FASTER NEEDED!!!!

Envelope 16sma 0.07 slightly quicker more on point.

the 9's changed to Envelope 5sma 0.00 and 0.04 and 0.08

Much stronger joining strong direction.

Lets do some Demo Sim Trades, try to get head around exactly what I'm trying to trade.

So far action is farily random, slight downward bias.

Currently downtrend, sitting around this area for 12mins.

New simpler plan, well it's an old plan, but balls appear to be able to trade it.

Envelope 14sma 0.01 Simple Trade with this direction.

Envelope 7sma 0.03 and 0.08, direction and noise range, SL outside as per standard.

When the 2 directions line up, join the direction near the 0.03 range.

Just made 13pts on NQ Short :) progress.

Wait for direction, ignore dead markets, job done!!

The 2 Envelope methods, looks great after the effect, but trade / trust live, hell no!!


Looks like above might be the only way for me to play this game.

Try to get up early tomorrow, but 2am so no chance LOL
 
Method approved and locked, looking GOOD!!! not GREAT but GOOD and GOOD is GOOD enough!!

SL size kinda on the high side but better than a death by 1000nd cuts.

Method looking good defo digging in here and taking time to master.

Observations so far......

1. if it's Trending strong it'll hold within the 7 0.03% so SL can be tight on.
2. Momo Strength based on 14's angle is good, but it's damn hard to tell the angle, wish I had an objective way with no lag to call this :(
3. 7's 0.08% range is good in weaker / sideways markets.
4. In strong markets a break outside of the inned 7 0.03% is likely odds of direction change, which makes #3 suicide if you miss call strength.
5. The previous mindset of waiting for a few mins to form a cluster, isn't valid with this method, got to risk it for a biscuit or it's gone in 6 seconds.

Hopefully full day trading tomorrow or watching and learning, might start teaching kids BF aswell, he's bright and out of work, set him up a demo then a $200 sub account linked to mine.

2nd brain as time is running out need to be printing $$$$'s
