Tighten the auto SL rules 8 - 13!!

Try to be more with the flow, direction of the 24, using the range of the 14 as a noise area to try to get a good price, with a good R:R, that's all I'm trying to do, stop over thinking it.
 
No, more work and plan changed again.........

Envelope 24sma 0.01 Main Direction.
Envelope 24sma 0.05 Direction Valid until this is taken out.

Envelope 8sma 0.04 this is my enter with 24 after a breakout rule, 24 Up then aim to get in low this.
 
SL Tweaked to outside the 24's range, but a lot of the time, going to be quickly nudging it under the 8's range.

24's rules GREAT!!! 98% happy.
8 kinda work in progress.

Made money, stop beating self up over 1 bad trade, 1 rookie mistake then screwing up a +280 exit about 6times and letting it turn on me.

Need to do the into close 100pt move trick more often, wasn't for earlier screw up, +1130 on the day, that'd be a game/life changer.
 
Back to watching new method layout.

So far so good.

Live example us30 top of 12 short 25603, Sl 14 so 11pts, yesterday SL out 20pts too much.

Could of took +8pts.

Pull back to 97, looked like trend change based on 12 direction.

Stuck waiting for a drop to low 12 range before playing long i suspect.

Loads of moves down, worth 10 to 15, for small SL outside 12.
 
Turn was right the pause was followed by a move up.

Entry, low 8 with 24 worked nice to.

Might get time to trade live later, screw it!!

Keep adding more damn Envelope Ranges and over complicated, starting to realise there all BS, work at times, 24 0.05 worked many times then they'll fail and make me take a incorrect trade.

Setup.......

Envelope 24sma 0.01 Direction not to trade against, based on side of price.

Envelope 8sma 0.03 and 8sma

Join 8's direction prefer near the outter so tight SL only with 24's direction rule.

So new focus, drop the high win rate, tight SL's and better control over losses and many more trades, more scalpy so not letting trades go from +300 to -400.

Single position aswell on US30 that can make a $1000 on a good trade after all, Single position on DAX but move upto $20 per pt :)

SL Dax 8pts, US30 10pts.
 
Method testing time....

Current Theory
24 0.01 and 0.05 ( Max SL point, but lower SL to 10 US30, ignore other than that )
12 0.03 entries with 12's direction.

Take trades ( 24 up ) low 12 range, quick in, quick out, tight SL, tighten SL at it goes, aiming for 20pts profit but risk 10pts, loads of trades.

24 up, L26035 SL 26025, SL 28, Exit 60 +36
12 mid enter L 53, SL 41 limit, exit 67 +26

So trading through Rough US Open time, still profitable, small losses easily compensated by mini trend moves at the good times.

Trade at the wrong time going to make a little, right time a lot, hard to tell right and wrong time, so kinda essential.

US and GBP closed tomorrow, method not great on DAX but might have to do.

Just joining 24's direction, looked good Live Friday so we shall see.
