Failed, bailed -6 pts average @$200 :( had a pull back further than expected nearly got in 10 pts lower but wussed it, using the 200ema trend which was too far out, back to 45 90 180 270 they do fit better.


But +30pts here $750. About $450 if i had gotten back in :(



Trade Lost, that happens no biggy, i liked the style, slowing it down a bit, back to averaging in, entries werent great, slow down continues, fast reverses.

Be up $1000 here :(

Rest of the day annoyingly worked well typically, continue with plan ENGAGE!

Errrm BAD Day, took the 45ema support on the DAX thinking it'll go higher and hey presto huge sell off blew through SL and a few more pips in no time at all :(

Sad part is I'm looking at my chart and even allowing for sloppy entries there is only really 1 losing trade today, yep the 1 I took, seriously :(

My prev loser, I got in to soon, against 16 so against short term mo mo, should of bought in the flat 9037 area, then again on the pull back 9030 area, +30 +40 on those :(

The 16 is stronger than I thought, or just bad chance, it did turn down under it.

Couldn't get laid in a brothel this week or what.
 
After that move kicked my ass, I had 2 setups which would of worked great, ANNOYED!!!

Work tomorrow, think I'll give trading a skip, JINXED big time.

EMA's all worked fine, loads of reversals, dunno which 1 will reverse but close enough earlier not to be a real issue.

I'm going to 1/2 my lot size again, until I get my head back in the game :(
 
45 is weak, it has low odds of working. :( did cost me well twice to be honest. Too Soon and false hope LOL plus it distracts from the soon to be 20's direction

Speed the 90 upto 80 to close the gap a tad
180 speed upto 160 better fit.
270 speed upto 240 better spacing really.

16 slow to 30 open range to 0.15%.

Both trades topped out at the 30, but so do other trades which then break through, but we where coming off a high, short term direction is selling from the high doh! should of know this.

SL20 is too much for me, so $6.30 at 1/2 lot size till head in gear, so SL15 = -$94 both positions call it $150 so 2%, back to 4% when I get confidence back.



This setup isn't changed much, it's just cleaner.

The reason for the losses is simple, I'm trading broken, tired and stupid.

No trades Fridays go badly way to often lol

Action is looking good spotted a 30pt move earlier called it perfectly no issues, charts look clear so far.

Tweaked the 4sma to a envelope 5sma 0.005, easier to spot momentum going flat maybe even joining existing wouldnt that be nice for a change.


5 is pointing for lower, and it is, started to slow was near the 30 going up broke that, trading 30 lower range here, holding so far, but no trading against the 5, kicked up a reversal bit 5 top is stopping pay, 5 gone flat.

5 low and stalled, long 9007 would be the call 15sl, 11 turning up ish, uk news just hit, slowwwwwww, down she goes, good job sim lol

Tracke under my emas didn't expect much strength of them as there flat as
Soft exit out - 4 look for short entry just missed 15sl thinking 20 still
20sl as was tight, 2nd position 8998 area on the way up here would be up nicely just a break below to buy sl and tap in since shorts.

Work must keep simming to had its back in the game or the curse is lifted lol

Useless action today, if no under lying trend then i go hungry :(. Still not a jack of all trades method so FAIL.


Trying a shorter term method currently, looks better, but busy we shall see.
 
Lets compare, method of last night on my PC to method I dreamt up at work !!

New method, keep the slow 80,160,240 ema's, delete everything else.
Envelope 5sma 0.05% and Envelope 12sma 0.1%

Basically, 2 envelope ranges for direction and noise filtering / to take advantage of.

Useless DAX day, will compare on a better day after.

Last 3 hours, prefer new visually but in detail, different tactic, shorter term.

Old method, last 8970 bounce, I could of seen it, / chanced it, new method 5 starts going up and buy near the low, real old school momentum almost scalping.

Move down to there, take spike on trust hard, or take the downtrend on the 5 for 10 ish.

Reversing offer fast moves, similar manner or where price going back into the 5

Change, deleting all ema's, adding 60ema only, cutting down on the confusion, just not needed with this.

12 calls direction nicely and the range..

NEW Tactic totally, it's scalpy, it's jump on the really small direction, with a pretty tight SL and will require nerves of steel.

Reduce Lot size for test / getting used to and GO for it, next week I guess.

up runs into 12 high, short 9505 SL 10, falling :) Quick 30pips, short near 5high worked to
Stalled high 12 under 60ema down for +20
high 5 called quick down
5 turns up, markets put in a base to move off, maybe long 9473 quick 40 nice.
Another place to enter 9490 area, got 20 aswell.
breaks through low 5, look for short, 9490 for +17


Running SL under the 5 Env looks ideal when it's fast trending.

A break either side, gives good odds it'll continue that way, don't panic buy wait for a pull back LOL

Can I trade this live ?? Going to have to learn I think, everything else is failing miserably recently.

Considering trading with Heiken Ashi aswell, basically candle price averaging from the previous candle, smoothens out the flow a bit making holding for trend easier! :)
