Only had time for 3 trades +105 on the day, 1 BE looked bad, then went 150 but hey.

Looking like the perfect combination to trade off.

Gives me setups in sideways chop, slow momo chop my fav and fast swoops which is where the big $$$$s are but need practice taking and trusting.

SLs are in place akways, not feeling the need for 2nd entry average in, so entries pretty tight, can increase lot size sooner lol

My life sucks, never get any time,behind on work crap,short month sucks dick :(


Need to give it up SOON,need a good trading week, like $1000 profit with no stupid trades all week, start reducing business to support only, no new contracts.
 
tODAY DAX 9am, F12 test to reinforce method, object is to learn to wait for a good setup and stop trying to play everything, which = account blown LOL

S 10970 SL 80 - exit 40 +30 chicken here LOL damn it went 85 so far.
L 10928 SL 18 - turning back up, exit 40 turning down +12

Less clutter, swapping Envelope 12sma 0.03% was it for just a 12sma.

US 30 trade short, just exited +$140 trading at night and not screwing it up :) getting there.

Only down $120 on the week, after my US30 failures the other night :(

Trading US30 at night, when it's all peaceful and quite, could actually work for me, $700 moves on my chart, just joining the previous down move and holding..

Nearly 300 profit on last trade :)

Sadly on up 76 on the day, including last nights trade.

Some stupid trades, 1 saw 170 thought uptrend hold it into news doh! Lost 80 lol

Losses to big, method still failing really.

Moved to 9 setup, with tighter ranges and 20sma, so faster. Pulled the 5 only use after kinda thing.
 
Lost 200 on a direction change then made 300 back on this up move, knocked system to 20 per pt, got to go back too scarey.

Dax went higher damn you scarey conditions.

Missing something, making this harder than it should be.

Pretty much every range play without momo support has failed.

Range is okay with momo for SL quick spike and return, but any time near the low Envelope is too highodds on turning, dax just did this, moved below 9sma, paused then sold off.

So directional part is good, forget chop, if I'd of shorted 10792 with a 10sl I'd of made 400 damn it.

Break even on the week lol

Gym and swim finally been a week, busy as fuck!
 
Gym and steam and jacquizi and 3 hotttt birds in tiny bikinis feeling stil DEAD,

So momo jump on only, ignore chop, but needs to be fast enough and clear enough when ignore or take small profit and run.

Setups...

Trade a cross of the 7 ie price, SL tight other side of the 10s range.

Jump on exiting trend, 7 and 10 going same way, enter in the 7, SL outside the 10.

Should get 60% win rate, 40% will be small tester trades that dont look to go anywhere ( some will ), 20% should run ie 20-40pts for risking 8, 40% lose 8 ofcourse.

This does depend on me a) getting out quick to avoid chop b) holding till i get a reverse signal.

First down start, too weak to see until after, then okay down move. got live ?? Nice held on the 10 perfectly.

Bottom forming near 11166 Long back in the zone, 11169 - SL 63 exit 11191 7 break + 22, 1203 would of been nicer!! 2nd entry near the 9 would of worked also.

Looking for down cheap SL entry, Short 11195 SL 11202 - hinky exit 11187 +8

Up move, too weak ignored, turning down again Short 11190 - SL 97 - exit 74 +16 nice!!

30sma is calling this I see, but don't want to confuse things!!

Too weak, can't call these moves to after the event. ( 30 called )

Turn up, no way to call, never is I guess Joining L 11162 - SL 54 - Exit 58 -4

Down move, short 11156 - SL 63 Exit -4 right before 30pt dive LOL

~Turning up, Long 11139 - SL 30 - exit 55 +16

US Session kicked in, then we had the big sweepers, which where easy to enter with and hold longer.

Needs tuning IMHO!!

Envelopes 8sma 0.03 and 0.08 are the main stay here, good range and direction moderate speed conditions and tight range, it's dependable and high success so a keeper.

Really fast moves, just got to be lucky to be in before and on the right side, so ignore them!!

Just lost $96 :( more despair, dax short, no continuation, brush it off, next :(

Problem is, a bottom formation looks exactly the same to move up of, as a false bottom! :(

Enter with direction on a pull back, with a tight SL the other side.

And that BB range, plays nicely with the Envelope!!

And the chart is clear enough to see the something though all the lines!!
 
Working on method, new theory or rehashing an old theory, maybe just maybe with better skills to be able to handle it. ( 5 weeks ago, looks good, can't trade it live )

Theory is, 13 Envelope range, works great, but wiggle room required for different volatility ofcourse. which means for ever scanning number to find a historic match.

BB 13sma 1.2 and 2.4 might solve this issue ( BIG Might )
and 30sma for the time being

Theory, take trades with direction near the 13sma till the 1.2, SL outside the 2.4, no entired between the 1.2 and 2.4 as odds to high on a turn, sideways chop trades near the 2.4 also allowed, GO!!!

13 up, crossing over the 30 Long 10977 SL 69 - SL hit -8 :( Failed to take out the 1.2 so no momo.

Down move for 30+ but didn't get a good entry, maybe live ??
13sma kicked another 1 down for +45 also missed.

Crossed over 1.2 looking to turn up and pull back to let me in.

Quick testing mode..........

Rest of the day, NICE as, but hard to trust, R:R is great but never get near the real reward and risk generally more than planned, so tricky as always.

Watch that at work tomorrow and maybe a while, tried Envelopes as said to death, need a change!! :( They work, but there HARD damn work, mainly just killing the losers quickly and letting profits run more which is keeping me profitable / BE recently, entry method for anything other than a 3min scalp is pretty much useless as all Counter trend, take the quick move my way or hit SL recently.






Need to learn to trust method
