Playing in weak markets, creating to many direction changes, had a few losers, strong markets are where its at, only down 50 area though so dont care.

Wait for strength, look for entry with the 6/13 rule, tight SL, repeat, try to hold longer depending on strength, simples.
 
I REALLY didn't expect to change the plan again, FECK still on going :( as likely hood is this might not be my solution, especially as it's kicking my ass today, many small losers, missing the big runs.

Quick test see if it looks profitable. I seem to of lost any real range concept :(

Yes, the potential of jumping on bigger moves, which is key, makes this a live tester for tomorrow.

just got to power through the small losers, till I get to the big earners, then grow the confidence to trust the momo and actually get good profits from.

Risk $60 to make $400-$600, but got to get smarter and take the odd $40 profit to offset the 60 losses, when it's likely boned.
 
There is a reason why I quit manual ES day trading after an hour, first 60 minutes allows for good moves with volume.

Have you done research of when the best times to day trade DAX? Could t be up to 9:30 CDT.?

Tricky old game................

Market conditions of today, to choppy to use a 6/12sma's for direction, removed the 12, without range I'm also screwed so a faster 9sma envelope 0.06% is calling it very well.

Plays well with yesterday aswell, so hmmmm!!

Running out of Combination, higher the SMA, lower it's value seems to strongly be the case, I'd of rejected 6 and 9 for being too close before.
 
System performance.....

9sma envelope 0.06% direction validity and range bounce return are both excellent today anyway. Mid speed trend or momo working best, break outs also valid switch to 6 joining mode.

6sma stuff size increased to 0.03%, still calling fast momo great, range is accurate enough.

New bike, not been proper off road yet, latest 650+ 2.8inch tyre monster, looks to be a trail crusher, cheap as chips to :)
 
Method not perfect, but tangible edge, yes i have said this before, but that'll more than do, tme to dig in.

Moved all missed sadly, school run and new bike.

On it soon all being well.

I checked the bund out, can trade it, but spread of 3 and doesnt seem to move much, dax spread 1 no comms, good mover.

I trade ym via us30 at times, but not often.
