Just made a costly school boy error shorting near the 100, starts to go my way mate walks in, setup the close all screen forgetting that this device is setup as 1 click, positions all close and noooooo +$70 minutes later +$600 area, yes I was going hard.


Annoyed big time lol

Must put android to the same as Apple device lol
 
I need a people less world Dax was setting up for a short mate face booked me about there just died mate and totally missed it arrrgghhhh.


Method is working great but I need a people less life.
 
Well I reckon if you are short term trading something as volatile as the Dax, you need 100% focus, and it might be worth restricting your trading to a short period, perhaps the first hour, since very few people can maintain very high levels of focus for longer periods.

I make a habit of getting out for a walk at some point in the trading day, normally between 1300 & 1430 London time, really helps I find.

also worth analysing your trades by entry period, you may find certain periods of the day are poor in terms of P&L. There's a very simple way to remedy this - stop trading during those periods. Simple but very effective in my experience.

First hour or 2 is the best and no 1 around to bug me need to start along up earlier I guess :(

Still up $230 area but distractions cost me around $1000 today, hitting exit by mistake cost me $500 area.

Need to switch phones and message apps off, don't normally get this level of constant distractions and calls though, bad day, need to get moving.

I can spot, slow up moves which won't reverse pretty well aswell these days, finally so the 1 loser with the X I might not of taken :)

I switched on, uptrend missed my entry long, and cease fire news hit huge run up, totally missed it, its going to be to random after that, stuck till it calms down.

Interesting how Russia backed down, cant do it sneakily cant risk the politics of doing it openly.
