Not often I can assure you, twice though amazingly, could of logged on to a Margin call and position was small, so account would of been down huge if so.

DOH! comes to mind.

Profit unrealised covered it's margin, so let me trade as normal, why I thought just a system error.
 
TRY to do a test of some kind, less try to prove the trend theory, market is up, long, pulls back, another long, breaks up trend rules ( 30sma direction change or falls out side of 30BB exit )

2nd Feb DAX......

9:09 short 9643 downtrend ofcourse. 2nd 9650, out 9610 +33 +40 = +77 +$330 area
missed a few small moves and tad lower
9:58 short 9620 out 9603 +17 nice enough
BB broken to upside, bounce of 9600 base, created buyers or news ofcourse.

Look for long........

10:22 9624 Long, ( 90 still down warning ), missed 2nd long ot 40 +16

Yep, working GREAT!!! obviously some losses, GOT to run SL outside of the BB, if the 10's BB is lower than the 30's BB then use the 10's BB, and not be tight, not right under, got to risk a tad more some spike and reverses, although move under look to exit ASAP regardless.

Training myself, to go, market is going up, join in, and not over think it, is ofcourse the 1st issue.

2nd being, market is going X, let it keep going, don't take 10pts and run LOL

I NEED TO GET TRADING AGAIN, business = STRESS, CRAP and more STRESS for less money, just makes no sense and that's with me trading averagely not well, like I'd like to trade.

Full time, end of March NO chance, try to keep business to min though!
 
Tuesday, start trading it, back testing, just isn't real enough ( no tick data ).

Opening the 30BB upto 1.5.

Tuesday, be the day my trading restarts, screw the business!
 
Trying to go simpler....


20bb 2.0 so standard setting really, 60sma also.

Enter near the mid point, enter again if needs be near the low if long, SL under the range.

Trend continues up the 20sma i profit, if it goes range then top of BB range and profit.

If trend breaks then im out.


Cant get any simpler, i like the 10'range, but end if day its all pot luck.


Moral is low work is a bitch!
 
Tomorrow, trading blown :( WORK came up :( then Kids :(

2 months on a project, nearly got scrapped, when 1 of the girls found a crappy web form, that did 20% of the job, manager bought into it, then realised, then saw mine and shot her down thankfully.

DAMN I NEED SLEEP!!!!
 
Still getting Faster, 14BB 2.2 currently, looking ideal for my target pips.

Using a 30 and 90 sma to gauge longer strength,


Appears to work, got to get simple enough but trusted enough to take the damn trades.

ROCKS in trend moves, ofcourse, many entries worth good pips, rest of the time it's got a shot of atleast being BE if not profitable. BE would do, standing still then making loads on trend moves would be just fine.
 
Work, weeks of work and client changes the main form, no week off to trade for me.

1 trade quick ish 100 :)

Back to the 42 bb setup, too much work put into it, and 15bb.
 
1 trade $50 it broke up just after I exited, could of taken $150 area, but hey was 50/50 so took it.

Method is working great live, motivation due to being SHATTERED = near Zero.

Too much work, too much shite ! :(

Missed a huge move, while on school runs great, thanks!

Did some live testing, 1 trade reversed trend and fast and ouch would of hurt like -40pts in no time :(

Currently toying with KISS errrr system, 60sma H and L, 18BB 2.0

REAL simple, play the BB range with the 60's direction/placement above long, below bla bla

Simple clean and works again and again and again.

Risk strategy looks like ( TIRED don't quote me )

Low entry of BB ( 60 uptrend ), 1 position SL 10 area, under the BB.

Mid entry with trend, 1/2 in, 1/2 near low BB if it gets there, SL under the BB, variable some what.

I need simple trend study, I need to be loose on SL but not too loose, tricky tricky balancing act.

I don't believe in loose, I believe in rigid stop losses, just easier than way. Make it nothing to balance, think of yourself as a programmed code where it is either yes/no, then you can't make changes of what you think and use what been back tested. Just pick one set of periods for a month and see how you do, bouncing around each day is tiring me out.
