Need somewhere to think out loud,

No trades this week, had the cold all week so coughing my guts up literally, turned into full on can barely move flu today, yeah me!

Worrying too much about losses, no SL and all.

Quick DAX test inbetween coughing fits LOL

8am 42+ worth +25 +20.

BB Narrows then a break to low and direction change, outside BB = doomed. Averaged to small loss on that 1 realistically.

42- short for +20, nxt short breaks up -40 but comes back this time.

42- but over, so Long +15 hits 10sma.

42+ L +30, loads of Long profits on this uptrend.

Working well, but need to not lose so much, need to get to the mind set of this is going the wrong way and exit, not dig in !!
 
3 projects to get completed this week ( well 1, 2 have NO chance ), Kids all day Wednesday and still getting over the Flu so my odds on trading are pretty close to Zero!!

Just got to hit the setup and get ass out of the way when they start to go bad for me, stick to the with 42sma direction as that's a massive edge on it's own and leads to big profits.

Risking big losses requires big profits to more than compensate ofcourse.

Still better than SL 10 being hit 8 times in a row.
 
Solved huge loss syndrome, dropping the 42sma, for a BB 42sma 1.2 , exits out side of the BB, entry near low BB with 42s direction looks good to.

If BB risk is huge and wild then consider market to rich for me and don't bother.

Quick new BB test ( damn my head HURTS )

Very few trend changes on the few days I skipped through, called incorrectly, so very few exits needlessly.

Looking good live to, sticking to it and not getting creative is ofcourse going to be my next issue.

If 42sma is to far away from the BB then consider exiting based on the 42sma, simples.

Gives a better, this is the trend reading, it's up and as long as it stops over the lower BB it's still up, so might aswell hold on tight for some profit, rather than taking a loss, just to take another loss and repeat while hunting for a profit.

Work on taking these entries live.

Then Work on holding longer.

Then Work on choosing my sports car, getting a topaa and pulling mid 20year old birds ( rather than the wheel chair cripple that got into her head cause I was being nice and replying to texts that I was her, arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ! )
 
Much happier with this setup, nearly took a few trades today which would of all worked out pretty well, the SL is outside of the 42's BB range 1.2Dev and soon as 42 direction turns against me I'm looking to get out of dodge.

Logic is sound, mega choppy days could cost me, but even then doubt it.

42 is strong, GOOD odds on going a good distance, not 8pts then turning on me, proper hold for 40 - 60pts, which is mucho $$$'s :)
 
Quick test, you know pretend I was awake enough and not ill enough to actually care LOL

8am, DT in play, short top of 10bb profit, short top 42bb win.
9am news blip, none event with no SL so fine.
downtrend via 10sma, fine profit 40-50
Bad trade there, initially, 2nd position and time and turns into a huge profit.
nearly shorted that high 10bb with downtrend went 50pts in no time, got distracted ( porn )

Generally, very nice, few losers, got to watch for some waiting periods while it catchs up but hey, nothing is perfect!!
 
Had kids all day, nearly took a few trades which all rocked :( need to get my balls back LOL

So DAX test, 8am, uptrend, low BB 10 longs worked great.

On the way up, we tested but never broke the 42 low BB , for a lot of pts.

These 2 variables work great together, golden baby :)

Time and Trust, stop worrying about what might go wrong, more on what I could make and manage the losses, which will happen the best I can live and sorted!

Get rid of this damn head ache and cough and general crap, would also help, LIFE!!
 
Actual live trade on the DAX for +6 , the crowd goes wild LOL $60 as I went all in.

Missed the good like 60+++ move earlier typically!!
 
Keep hesitating and missing trades, just setup lot size and dropped 15pts while finger on route to go short.

No trades, yet since that last 1, but getting into the ebb and flow, and whats required to make $$$'s and when to fail and exit and take thy loss.

Get rid of this Flu and pretty sure I can start printing out money, like it's going out of fashion :0

Market, much slower and choppier, which suites me better, should of held trade #1 for +30 though, not 6!!

Getting there, SLOWLY, 10 more years tops at this rate LOL
